@@francescoprati6449 I love your guitar tone! If you don't mind, may I ask what effects pedals you were using for overdrive/distortion, delay, reverb, and any chorus/modulation? Thank you!
@@MrTb2arvd Hi, sorry for the delay, I only today saw your second comment for the first time; sometimes RUclips doesn't show comment notifications. What do you mean by transcribing the songs?
Bro! For more covers like this! I don't know why the hell people like to cover songs and not play along. It is precisely by understanding and playing along that you understand what happened in the recording of that specific guitar, in that specific song, in the studio. I like play along covers a lot more. Do more of these. Nice sound, Francesco ❤
Hello, thanks! 🙏😃. I didn't understand what you mean by doing covers without playing together. It seems to me that everyone who plays covers does it behind the backing track.
@@francescoprati6449 oh yes... let me be clearer, Francesco. When I say play along, I mean playing the guitar with the music, along with the band and paying attention to the details of the melody and harmony arrangement. But generally, what is done a lot in guitar covers is to play the melody of the song on the guitar, as if you were singing, solfehing the melody. That's cool, but I like it more, playing the harmony and taking out the arrangement details of the rhythm and lead guitars. If I want to sing, I use a microphone, not a guitar. I hope you understood me. 🙏🏾
@@saulocorrea8399 You mean a lot of people do covers and improvise on lead guitar throughout the song? I tried to perform the guitar parts trying to be as faithful as possible to the original. I like to identify the arrangements and play them.
@@francescoprati6449 Yeah, tou nailed it Francesco. What I mean is that, in many guitar covers, the guys play the song note by note, as if they were singing, accompanying the voice (which is the melody). What you did in the video is precisely the guitar that is great to hear: the arrangement, with all the details, as recorded in the studio.
@@saulocorrea8399 yes, it seems like the most normal and right thing to do if one intends to do the cover. The rest is just a useful exercise to improve improvisation, I do it too every now and then but without recording a video; it just becomes a moment of free vent.
Awesome cover! You nailed it!
Thanks! 😃🙏

@@agotingco For this song I used the Neural Fortin Cal Suite plugin. Delay and reverb as effect.
Very cool, great job. I like that you cover a lot of songs I haven't seen before. God Bless you and your family. I have family in Italy.
