Shame to hear people complained about the set list having too much new stuff. They’re not a nostalgia act. Who watches one of the greatest live bands on the planet without appreciation?
Seriously! When their live channel posted the set list the day after, myself and all the others in the comments went nuts saying how incredible of a set list it was, and how jealous we were for the fans that attended... the next day I saw numerous articles online that many fans complained there were "too many new songs" and several said that they'd never see them live again 😳🙄 (and I counted - out of 19 songs, only _7_ were new!) I've been disabled for over 20 yrs and, as a RHCP nut, I've had tix to see them live _multiple_ times, and each time I've missed the show because of medical emergencies - absolutely breaking my heart! To think that people had the incredible honor to see RHCP live and are _complaining about it?!?_ My goodness... 🤷♂️🤦♂️SMH
It's infuriating. I saw them in Lisbon this summer and there were many people complaining about the new stuff... They played 5 or 6 new songs from UL and ROTDC but they also played Cant Stop, By the Way, Californication, Under the Bridge, Give it Away, and even a few unexpected ones (Suck My Kiss, Tell Me Baby). Man, they're not a Greatest Hits jukebox, they're still a creative force, releasing new stuff after 40 years. People are dumb.

This one definitely made our day that night. I think I can post the entire encore together and that will probably be the best way to revisit that show for anyone out there

Great old stuff from 1991. Saw them last june again in cologne. It was the fitfth time I saw them over the years. Every time is a special experience. This song is psycho funk sex pure! #weloveit ✌🏼💝🦋🍀
