- A grand return to World of Tanks! From September 28 through October 12, The Last Waffenträger special event will take place.
You'll once again face the legendary German tank destroyer, but this time it's different. The Waffenträger has become stronger, deadlier, and more dangerous!
Join a detachment of T-55 Thunderbolt special tanks to fight against it. Or drive the Waffenträger itself!

i like to see things like this and Steel Hunter that are not much REALISTIC its fun to go off history and just have fun
They should make a new game mode with in the game, And leave the random battle as they are. So Wot don't get ruined.

The entire game is not realistic or historical, too many fake tanks in the tech tree and premium shop.
i can't say for all the tanks in the game but i do know that most of the tanks that aren't real are in fact real at least in blueprints
Wow. This is... unexpected. Y'know, when you said "It Will Return" none of us thought it meant "it will return in an event and can only be accessed by either paying money or playing the T-55"
oh i thought its a choice to choose it or t55 and they both have their own missions or maybe the wte100 has like 5 games you can play then a wait time
@@thedragonknight8061 Yeah it says "KEY", so maybe you only can use it for a limited battle everyday(Might be worse like only have that amount of battle that you can use WTE100 in whole event)
Well obviously they have to limit the amount of WTs that enter into battle, if everyone had access to it, everyone would only play the WT and not the T-55s.
We've made a most legendary weapon out of the WT E100, so much so that it needs a team of 7 with extra lives handy to join forces and take it down. We wanted for the experience of playing it again to be truly epic and exclusive. :) -Sael_

I just love the fact that they are creating story-based events (so that German is the Impostor among us)

it looks way different to the old wte100, it might be able to push the other tanks more than they can push it

Of course there's loot boxes
But these loot boxes are completely independant from the game mode, it's just an excuse to have them.

This is like what I have imagined but not exactly. "Hunt for the White Tiger" a special mode in game where players can play either the White Tiger or one of the group of t-34 plus a special tank to hunt it just like in the movie "White Tiger". That special tank must not get taken out before it faces the "White Tiger" for the final showdown.. almost the same, they fight other tanks, get stronger and the white tiger's position will be revealed.. :)

Would it be possible to play in platoon with 6 friends? I can already see how much tear would random pub players shed.

You have to kill the bots around the map to harvest the electricity from them to power up you vehicles and raise your damage output. He's basically hunting you until you are powerful enough to hunt him.

Im a bit saddened that you cant keep the crew of the t55, even at a low level because i love the voicelines from the t55

With like a KTD-1 rangefinder above the 100mm D-10T gun.
My worry is that if there is a choice to play either the Waffle or the T-55 too many people will want to play the waffle and matches will be harder to start.

TBH with the current meta Wargaming could easily re-introduce the Waffen e100 back into the game and even reduce the alpha/pen/intra-clip reload speed if needed...

Must say i have almost lost interest in the game, still play few maches per mounth, but this event looks really hype. I hope that they'll allow you to play as Wt auf e100 couple of times by completing missions or something and not just by paying money :)
If you win against it, you get a key (or several keys, not sure) that allow you to play as it. And there are daily missions which if completed give you keys. You can also get them through the footlocks I'm pretty sure.

give us back the Waffentrager in the technology tree and give us back the old maps
Bringing the wt auf e100 in as a boss is pretty acurate to what he was before it was removed

@@WorldOfTanksOfficialChannel you can get key, but can you wait long enough to really play it? Maybe to remove your staff and CC's from waiting to give mortals chance to play with it? Whomever created this mod didn't think for the second what will really happen when mod go out (thousands of Wft auf E100 and three to four t-55's in line for combat)

Can't really blame the guy for wanting to build a better vehicle, the Walküre is a terrible choice for Steel Hunter and is only really good early game.

Though it seems fun but I'm really disappointed. I really wanted to see a comeback of a nice balanced WTE100. I hope that the day would come where WTE100 comes back to the game.
