How are you connecting your Sonos speaker to Hubitat and how do you configure it as a speech device?

why is the arming failing if some contact is opened? maybe i forgot some window at a higher level opened, that doesn't mean i have to return home after i already started my car to close it in order to monitor, it should just monitor anyway and ignore that sensor.

Can the "away" state not be automatically arm when all mobile phones are not at home, and unarm when at least one phone is in the premises?

Yes, you can set your modes in mode manager to trigger based on when phones come and go, then use the mode change to set the armed state in Hubitat Safety Monitor.
