- This time i decided to make a really enchanting hatchet so i used brass to make the handle. I even watched alot of axes restorations on youtube some made handle out of aluminium and some used regular wood so i decided to do something different and used brass in the handle.
The mirror polish on the axe head was done by different grits of sandpaper and the BRASS was shined by brass polishing stone. This hatchet was really heavy to hold it is pretty hard to use it in our daily life. I made this hatchet just for fun or we can say just as a decoration piece so guyz i am really happy i made such a pretty hatchet in my little workshop so guys watch the video just for fun.

I was like oh I have a rusty axe head I should do this I wonder how you put the middle handle on probably pretty easy then I saw that he literally dumped molten metal into a mold that he made that he made styrofoam and I was like nope that's not going to happen

is it just me , or is that axe head at a wonky angle?
No, you are correct. The angle of the hatchet head and handle is definitely too obtuse. It will lead to over cutting on the blades heel, causing it to wear unevenly. Due to the awkward angle, less of the blade will make contact with the object being cut, making the user over compensate, causing fatigue and strain to the wrist. It will also cause the user to needlessly reach further over or across the object being cut then should be necessary. It is, however, shiny.

Actually, since the handle is metal. The vibration from hitting something with this would hurt a LOT. You know very little about axes.

My issue with an axe like that - It's too shiny! Seriously, I wouldn't want to hold it, let alone use it, for fear of it getting prints or smudges on the handle.
