Excelentes lecciones Scott. Que lástina que no sé ingles, pero los ejercicios son muy buenos y me gusta la buena onda que pones en los videos. Saludos desde Argentina.
I want you to be my teacher! I never sayd this on a man. I love your way your hand your evrythig about theat base! YOU ARE AWSOME! The only person I can understand what says.
These videos keep me going. New stuff to try out and I do a 2 hours session. This is like a violinist do it with a continuous tone coming from the bow. I heard you mentioned using the cortex and I don't have one of those. That could be the reason for some difficulties. You're really fast using a cortex. I'm planning on getting one. - Be careful with my bass...
Great lesson, I need to practice this! Question to all of you out there- do you find it harder to get the same speed going back down the scale run using pull offs?
Greetings from Lithuania, Scott! First, i want to thank you for all your videos, they helped me so much. And i have one question. I'm playing this bass, which weight isn't balanced. Neck weights more than body, so my left arm (i'm right handed) has to hold all the neck's weight while i'm playing. So i can't really do any quick playing, which is so annoying. Do you have any tips on how to balance it without spending a lot of money? It would help me a lot. Thanks again.
As usually, a wonderful lesson. THX for sharing your knowledge, Scott. In your video, you are sometimes also playing backwards. Does that also work with hammer ons or may it be, that one can also pull offs for playing backwards?
For me it's still the case that the right hand limits the speed much more than the left hand. I can drum with my right hand fingers (kept straight ) double or tripled the speed I can pluck. There must be something to look at here. Do you have an insight?
I generally never lend out, or even allow anyone to play my basses, but go ahead finish the lesson :) ... don't scratch my bass, remove any bulky belt buckles..

Scott IS ACTUALLY HUMAN!!!!!!!
For me it's still the case that the right hand limits the speed much more than the left hand. I can drum with my right hand fingers (kept straight ) double or tripled the speed I can pluck. There must be something to look at here. Do you have an insight?
what if the note to hammer on is after the one to pluck on the fret board?????
Hey Scott, could you tell me the title of the song for your intro please?
It's "Tune for Sunday" James - you can check it out here... ruclips.net/video/oxjwEuuFBpU/видео.html
Oh thank you for asking him this, i have been wondering this for the longest time :)

Common its mine LOL
Is it better to press near the fret, than in the middle? I see you doing that.
Put your finger on the fret so the note sounds clear. :) Test it out.
Круто
great lesson and very nice bass indeed, but there is too much fret buzzin

mine rings when I press on the second
That’s a five string bass?
Why your basses always buzz as hell :P ?
Low action (height of the string) makes it easier to play. Some people also like the sound.
Yeah but you can set low action without buzzing on every note. Scott have very light touch and even that it buzzez horrible !
Its a brand new bass shipped to him for a give away. He probably hasn't messed with the truss rod.
It was like a long advert, and we don't need to hear about your cameraman. You are probably a good teacher, but I just want to learn the technique.
