Yes, I have 6 border collies and 2 are inside. One sleeps with me. The rest have a nice Border Collie outdoor home with heat in Winter & a/c in the Summer.
Ive had Border Collies too and am onto my third,he was a year old at the end of August and before I say anything else I will admit he's turned out to be the hardest work of any of them, and of any other dog Ive ever had.BUT,he's improving so much and I honestly think that the difficult times him and I did have are down to his intelligence and always being a step ahead of me lol I think their intelligence makes them challenge us more, but if we stick with it,and recognise that in them, and that theyre not like other dogs...then we end up with amazingly clever, intuitive Collies that need mental stimulation as well as physical exercise.I adore my boy,we have a bond, even after all the teething problems..I probably annoyed him as much as he did me at times lol .We walk at least twice a day, running in the park, him, not me lol, focuses on me alone, passing joggers, bikes or other dogs are of no interest to him,we're a team ,and I feel very proud of him.Would I have had him had I known the initial hard work(bearing in mind that Ive had BC'S before)..maybe not,but the hard work from his side and mine lol has paid off and he's a wonderful dog and right this minute snuggled with me on the couch, our me and him time after a busy day :)
Working with a border collie is so rewarding my eldest border was hard work she was my first and learning first hand how smart they are is hard at first to work with. But after a while you and your dog really start to communicate and come to an understandings. So glad you hang in you have a friend for life ❤️

My collie Athena gets super upset when anyone sneezes or coughs I have to pet her and tell her I’m alright she is also the most docile dog ever I’ve never seen her angry ever.
My Rough Collie Brooke comes running to anyone who sneezes it’s so funny 🤣 Also for the vacuum and lawn mower she’s going to get that damn machine the second it starts up she comes running !
One day, we heard/heard a noise coming from the kitchen. When I checked, my BC, Grace, was trying to herd her bag of lamb dogfood. Another time, she shredded the bag, then pushed everything under a chair. She was so beautiful, intelligent, funny, stubborn and so much more.
I have a honey-colored border collie and guess what her name is Honey! We got her from a breeder in colorado. She is soooo smart. She has learned a ton of tricks.
This is so accurate! My border collie saw snow for the first time the other day and I swear to god she started trying to herd it. Then she was biting at the splashes from my footsteps. :D
My lil girl she loves to help when it comes to shaving off the sidewalk n then when we push the snow off she thinks she needs to put her head in the snow pile n come out of all snow covered n she loves to play catch with a snow ball . When I got her she was only 8weeks old n I got her in July.
What a beautiful color! Almost looks like an Australian shepherd. We have an older GSD, but just couple days ago we adopted a 2 month old border collie, at first I was hesitant thinking what have I done, but what a good choice I made. They are so smart and sweet.
Congrats on your new puppy! You won’t regret it at all! You have two amazing breeds and they do well with each other! My aussies are minis they are somewhat different than standards :)
I LOVE my border collie - she’s my favorite child ( I have two human kids, two dogs & a cat lol) the cuddles are something serious, I avoid eye contact with her because if my eyes meet hers for one second she’s on me lol we have a trampoline in our yard and she goes back there everyday and does laps around it & turns around every three times - funny how smart they are that she developed her own pattern (there is now a little track around it) I walk her daily and constantly play with her but it’s not enough!
Have a male B&w border collie he's 2yrs old and he is so good he has no behaviour problems he is so funny and he hears me and my inter cos were kids he also hears MY cat and hamster(in his cage)Collies are so cute and honestly I love them we soon will start breeding them I'd we get a 2nd one in the futer
Apacks Journey he is so smart me a 11yr old taught him: Sit Stay Down Up Spin Leave Where is your harness Jump over a 4ft fence double his height And he knows more
I pet sat for my friend’s Border Collie, she is still a puppy 11 months old, I used to own a Boston Terrier and a Lab, they were not as energetic a Border Collie. I don’t remember them bitting as much a Border Collie either, the nib at my feet a lot. Interesting enough, the dog likes me so much that I let her loose at the park and came back to me every time I asked her to. She doesn’t do that with her Mom! Smart smart dog, I just need to learn how to deal with the bitting next time I pet sit for her.
Play biting at that age is normal border collies are natural more nippy than most. But none of mine kept doing that after a year old. I would suggest more play with her when you pet sit to get some of her excess energy out :)
My lil girl runs n gets up on the bed , she doesn't like it at all for some odd reason n I have HD her since she was 8weeks old , only thing I can think of is that the person that had her mom n the puppies most had scared em with the vacuum cleaner n that's why she doesn't like it.
it' the wheels (they invented it) - or anything that moves for that matter. it can be a bad habit if you want a farm dog loose about the place because they will go for passing traffic and it's a difficult habit to break. we had one that realised cars were too big and fast but you couldn't go anywhere in peace with a wheelbarrow.
I have heard they are more sensitive to noise! Mine is ok with the vacuum (vacuumed almost daily when he was a puppy) but not ok with things falling, airplanes, helicopters, skateboards, or birds daring to sing loudly in the morning, lol! Also, ive found its really easy for him to "forget" that hes used to a noise, like we used to live next to 2 hospitals and he didnt care about sirens... And then we moved and he decided sirens are the devil lol
I know that liver is not a common color for the Border Collie but it is a beautiful color. She looks very similar to an English springer Spaniel who are mostly liver.
I’m thinking about getting a border collie I am active & love outdoor activities but I also would like a dog that can relax at home & likes to cuddle watching movie & would sleep in my bed.
We rescued our BC from the highway 3 weeks ago. She gets walked 2 to 4 miles a day. Between that and playing with her some... she is a wonderful coach potato in the times in between. She's still a puppy at 8 months, so she does require A LOT of attention right now.
lost my soulmate 9 weeks ago the house did not feel like a home without her so i bought another border collie pup she is 9weeks old and allready adore her
At the dog park if things get too intense, my BC will break away from the rest and herd them together to calm things down. Zero training regarding herding, just a super strong instinct. Teaching him that it is good to be alone has been worth the effort. On his 3rd bday (yesterday as I am writing this), we went for a 6km run (warm up really, for him), then spent the next 7 hours hiking and at a dog park (always has access to water and is commanded to relax periodically). He will only stop running when I command him to lie down etc. Never any injuries, never starts fights, only de-escalates and loves everyone and everything, even cats (which he wants to play with, not herd). Super quirky at times, hyper intelligent for sure and reads me like an open book no matter what I try when attempting to change things up. He is very affectionate but this does not mean he is one that prefers cuddles on the couch to anything else. Greets whomever, wherever, and then it´s playtime/training etc. We´re talking at least 5 hours of activities every single day. I wouldn´t trade it for anything in the world. BCs are incredibly special. As a puppy he was a great white shark with legs. I don´t think I need to go any deeper into that, haha.
Oh my gosh this is all too real!! My collie Monty is coming up to 12 weeks old so is 100% still in the chewing phase! I have 3 tortoise too, and he also is absolutely mesmerised by them and will actively watch them roaming around their viv! I’m sure if they were out on the floor he would definitely try to round them! It’s also currently 4:30am and I can still hear him playing with his squeaky duck and bounding around in the dark!
First off congrats! Is Monty (i love that name btw) a collie or border collie? Just asking because there’s a RUclipsr I love with a collie named Monty lol either way the next 9 months are the most important for your pup!
When I brought my sanjay home in May he was a little fur ball. People said they thought he was pitt. Ummmm nope hes a border collie and now I understand hes normal thanks to your video!
Late comer and all true, but they're worth it. Our first BC chewed a big hole through my couch in 1999, but she was an unbelievable dog and I learned was my fault for leaving her home alone my whole workday with nothing to do but what she had at hand. Wife was away on vacation, so I put in a doggy door so she could go out and run in the fenced in yard to cope with my absence. She was our love and the beginning of our journey with BCs and we've had as many as six at a time, now unfortunately down to four as our oldest passed away last year. Keep me on my toes, for sure.
I love border collies and I gotta tell you, she does all these things, and she loves cuddles! She is very smart too as she knew sit at one and a half month old! I’m so happy out of all dogs I have a border collie 😊 Also you got a new subscriber 😃
This is my dog to a tee. We’re beach bums. We’ll run. She’s an old lady but she takes off, chasing the birds at 20 mph. She’s faster than me but she always looks back, keeping an eye on me and she routinely comes back to round me up. She hasn’t destroyed any blinds yet... but she likes to go outside, go walking all day and all night. I don’t mind because it’s good for me too
I'd honestly love having a border collie, but I know I wouldn't do well with a high energy dog and I wouldn't want them to get bored with me :'D God these doggos are adorbs!
@@brennonh468 Oh? I'd imagine them quite energetic in general, though I do know each dogs are different even within a breed :o I'll admit I do enjoy a bit of playfulness with a dog, it's kinda what gives them their charm. Right now I can only have small dogs where I live so I have a morkie and she sleeps a lot but she's also playful xD Sometime I'm just sitting on the couch and she'll come and shove a ball on my face all like "PLAY TIME MAMA", I just wouldn't be good with a dog that needs a lot of exercise but I can do with a little bit of energy
@@lorettagrey7383 theres a breed Called "show line" thought. So these dogs are just bred for being pretty. Their parents don't herd anymore so I think they still got the typical border collie character but are more calm.
@@lorettagrey7383 you train them to be calm as puppies, and also if you want a calm BC you can't fall into the trap of 'its a BC so it needs hours and hours of exercise a day', once you start doing that they're gonna be used to that level of activity and need it everyday. Mental stimulation is a lot more important for them than physical, the golden rule I learnt when I first got mine was 5 mins of exercise for every month they are until they're fully grown at around 2 years old. So for example a 2 month old will get 10 mins, a 7 month old will get 35 mins and an adult should get about 2 hours which can be split up throughout the day but you can also tailor this to your personal needs as long as you start when they're young, make sure they're healthy and give them enough mental stimulation. My BCs nearly 8 months now and whenever anyone meets him they're always shocked by how calm he is (don't get me wrong, hes not apathetic, he still has energy he's just not go go go all the time like people seem to think BC are) which I give credit to me giving him boundaries such as him knowing that when we're playing if I say 'all done, no play' he drops whatever were doing and he settles. BCs are like children, if you let them run around all day they will but you're in charge and you need to set firm boundaries so they don't become ferals haha and also don't confuse your BC being in over tired gremlin mode for still having energy and needing to run it off. I guarantee that if your BC is more manic than usual if you just remove any stimulus they'll pass out in 2 seconds, again just like a child
My border collie tried to herd three not so young ladies in the park one day when she was only four months old. Her favourite treat is a piece of cheese her only hate is the ironing board. I got her from dogs trust three years ago and I’m so grateful
Thx for sharing this video, very relatable I got a border collie, she is allowed to run around off leash free everyday , all day in our neighbourhood at the beach. The people around know her and really like her.
Does anybody else's border collie have a habit of looking out of the window, barking at other cats, dogs and people? Or is it just our crazy hound? Lol
Oh yeah, the struggle is real!😈Dont you just love your furry morning coffee?Honestly, its the best ingredient ever 😁 And their focus on toys...I can hold a ball in my hand even for hours and my Abbie wont move and cant take her eyes off of it.Great video and wonderful "best friends" 💚 Life with Border collie is an amazing adventure
My wee Scots mum’s border collie Sam herded kids too on a public playground.....their parents were delighted to see that and were relieved not to have to pay for that “babysitting” service.....! He kept them away from the roadway, bicycles, roller blades.....etc and worked for a fountain delivered cold drink and.....a Dairy Queen (large) dipped ice cream cone (free from DQ)....
I have had 3 Border's and have only one left now. I miss my other two something bad. Such beautiful, intelligent hounds. Ya need a 30hr day to tire them out but the joy you get in return makes it no work at all. Best mates I have ever had or will ever have. So much character. The only people I wouldn't recommend them to is lazy people or workaholics. Put in the time and effort and you will know joy.
Herding random things. My girl Blanche is also herding the fish in my fishtank. But not all of them. For some reasons, the catfish are considered dangerous. She herds all other fish, but when my ancristus show up, she barks them off.
My dog is only half border collie but I can relate a lot to their behaviour. The other half is lab. And yes, even just half collie is hyper and tiring. If you want the easy life get another kind of dog.
I just found your channel, making me feel nostalgic. My mum bred borders for years. She was very particular about parentage ie, the dam and sires history when she got the bitches to mate. or put her dog to sire. Nothing like being chased by about seven 8 week old pups around the backyard and then pretending to fall down and all i got was all these kisses and jumping all over me .. and the smell.. of baby borders before their eyes opened.. heaven.. it was my job to clean out the bitches kennel, lay clean newspaper etc. i was the only one Bethy didnt mind me moving her newborns from the compost heap where she whelped to the lovely clean warm kennel she was meant to whelp in.. lol. love my borders xx
Oh man my boy is a border collie x New Zealand Huntaway. The huntaway in him makes him huuuge and he has such a loud deep bark 😳 he definitely herds kitties and sometimes my mice in their cage 🤣 doesn’t take much of a liking to other dogs just because he’s trying to herd them and he gets overly bossy about dog behaviours he deems as rude. He’d much rather play fetch with his favourite person ever (me, mum) 🥰
My Border Collie watches me and my cat in the mirror. It’s like she understands how mirrors work. I can sit her in front of the mirror, do a down hand signal with no talking and she’ll down. She’s also the only one of my dogs that ever watched TV. Everyone else could care less. Then there’s the stare and stalk, which initially scared me because I didn’t understand what she was doing. I thought she was acting “aggressive” or trying to hunt the other dog or cat. It can be pretty intense, head down, tail perfectly horizontal, slowly creeping towards whatever she’s “herding”. She’s never done any chasing or anything like that, thankfully. I just worry that other people or their dogs are going to take it the wrong way, so I’m working on “Look At That” or “Good Look”. To get her to check in with me, instead of intense prolonged staring at in appropriate times. She’s so athletic too, I’ve never had a dog that can change directions as fast as her. She can full sprint 180 and run in the opposite direction. Or 360 butt spin during zoomies, then hop 180 into a down while playing. It’s funny to watch.
My border collie loves her jolly ball! As for staring at random things she doesn’t really do that. She’s also afraid of livestock 😂 conformation lines really do take the work out of the working dog haha
Lol you are right! For instance my working line border (ivy) is obsessed with staring at cats and you can’t even say the word cat around her. But my show line borders could care less about the cats lol 🤷♀️
One of mine got kicked out of day care because he would herd all the dogs to one corner of the room and that was the end of play session. What did I do? I tired him on sheep and he was excellent. Hired a handler while I learned all the commands, rented land and sheep and the rest was history. Who needs daycare when you have your own sheep to herd :-) :-)

So glad you hang in you have a friend for life ❤️
@@apacksjourney We're just back from todays walk, loads of other dogs in the park, including 2 other BC's,they all just ignore one another.I wouldnt part with him ,even with all his wee quirks:)
My grandads border collie is 17 years old and she is such a good body gard she also looks around and stares at on spot like she can hear and see some think that we humans can't
My collie Athena gets super upset when anyone sneezes or coughs I have to pet her and tell her I’m alright she is also the most docile dog ever I’ve never seen her angry ever.
They pick up such weird habits, ivy (the red) doesn’t like the garbage truck fears it like fire works but she will chase the ups truck 🤷♀️
My Rough Collie Brooke comes running to anyone who sneezes it’s so funny 🤣 Also for the vacuum and lawn mower she’s going to get that damn machine the second it starts up she comes running !
My collie Bobo barks if anyone sneezes, he really seems to not like the sound.
When u showed the blinds I knew I that I would relate to everything in this video
😂😂😂 Yep!
I know what you mean. My Borodor has completely ruined my vertical blinds and ruined a sofa.
We have to just keep ours up a tiny bit or she’ll rip them apart.
When he was younger, my border collie used to herd the family if we got up from the couch. He also ate through a few window sills
My Border collie attempts to herd me and the shovel when I’m cleaning up after her 😀
Same
Always
Yep
Lucky you; GSDs and Border Collies are the best. We have one of both they are amazing. And Flat-Coated Retrievers.
Watching Border Collie Videos always makes me so happy ❤️
Can‘t wait to get one hopefully soon!!
I make eye contact with my border collie and she sees it as a way of love or “let’s play”
Smart and beautiful, relate to this video, i've got one collie and now he's 9 months young! full view
That’s exactly how joker is! I bet your border is so smart!
Apacks Journey he is so smart me a 11yr old taught him:
Sit
Stay
Down
Up
Spin
Leave
Where is your harness
Jump over a 4ft fence double his height
And he knows more
I pet sat for my friend’s Border Collie, she is still a puppy 11 months old, I used to own a Boston Terrier and a Lab, they were not as energetic a Border Collie.
@@apacksjourney I will do! Thanks for the reply!
Didn’t know the vacuum thing was a border collie thing! Just thought my 2 collies really disliked the vacuum for some reason 🤣
Yes she is a rare color I loved it when I saw here as a puppy 12 years ago! ♥️
Love border collies and these collies are beauties.
Thank you so much! Borders are the best! ❤️
A pack of them? That's like a law firm. Watch out they don't figure out how to take you to court and commandeer your house.
My Border Collie love rounding up any thing that moves, especially the quad he won't stay on the quad has to round it up and bite the wheels.
lost my soulmate 9 weeks ago the house did not feel like a home without her so i bought another border collie pup she is 9weeks old and allready adore her
At the dog park if things get too intense, my BC will break away from the rest and herd them together to calm things down.
Our BC did the vacuum cleaner eating with the snow shovel. He's already gone but the chew marks stayed. :)
Oh, and also, herding cats is possible :D
Just got mine a week ago. He’s now 9 weeks old. I could just look at him sleeping for hours. He is my treasure!
Haha enjoy it
Lol. Look forward to your next post
Sleeping? HAH. Enjoy the next phase!
Love this! I have a 8 month old border collie named Piccolo. Also I love your Zelda tat!
Well pitties are definitely different than border collies but I think you’ll find that they are just amazing dogs congrats!
Fantastic bunch of collies you have there.
Why thank you so much!!!
U forgot the classic, when they only bring the ball half way so you both have to meet in the middle
😂😂😂 yess!
I love border collies and I gotta tell you, she does all these things, and she loves cuddles! She is very smart too as she knew sit at one and a half month old! I’m so happy out of all dogs I have a border collie 😊
Also you got a new subscriber 😃
This is my dog to a tee. We’re beach bums. We’ll run. She’s an old lady but she takes off, chasing the birds at 20 mph. She’s faster than me but she always looks back, keeping an eye on me and she routinely comes back to round me up. She hasn’t destroyed any blinds yet... but she likes to go outside, go walking all day and all night. I don’t mind because it’s good for me too
Lovely all bordercollisar, love to them so smart
I'd honestly love having a border collie, but I know I wouldn't do well with a high energy dog and I wouldn't want them to get bored with me :'D God these doggos are adorbs!
Keep looking theres border collies that are well trained and more calm. My border collie is the epitome of a lapdog. Doesn't even play with toys
@@brennonh468 Oh? I'd imagine them quite energetic in general, though I do know each dogs are different even within a breed :o
I'll admit I do enjoy a bit of playfulness with a dog, it's kinda what gives them their charm.
@@brennonh468 how do you find a calm one?
Awww beautiful collies you have, i have 2 collies, they certainly know how to round everyone up lol, even the kids. have to love the border collie 😄
My border collie tried to herd three not so young ladies in the park one day when she was only four months old. Her favourite treat is a piece of cheese her only hate is the ironing board. I got her from dogs trust three years ago and I’m so grateful
They look so happy! Super sweet video
Omg 🥺🥺 i have an 8 weeks old collie and she’s the best gift !!
Thx for sharing this video, very relatable
I got a border collie, she is allowed to run around off leash free everyday , all day in our neighbourhood at the beach.
The people around know her and really like her.
Just found this channel... very cool! Love your doggies! Cuuuuute! 🥰😍
Does anybody else's border collie have a habit of looking out of the window, barking at other cats, dogs and people? Or is it just our crazy hound? Lol
Ivy had busted out my window going bazerk at other dogs mail trucks etc nope your not alone!
My border collie is 6 months and barks at other dogs
Yeah haha
My Mini Aussie likes to look out the window on my rocker recliner likes she’s a watchdog. She’ll bark at any movement or sound lol
That is hilarious when the dog is standing over the kitty with his tongue hanging out!
She’s been doing that her whole life 😆
Oh yeah, the struggle is real!😈Dont you just love your furry morning coffee?Honestly, its the best ingredient ever 😁 And their focus on toys...I can hold a ball in my hand even for hours and my Abbie wont move and cant take her eyes off of it.Great video and wonderful "best friends" 💚 Life with Border collie is an amazing adventure
Your right it’s the best ingredient ♥️
My wee Scots mum’s border collie Sam herded kids too on a public playground.....their parents were delighted to see that and were relieved not to have to pay for that “babysitting” service.....! He kept them away from the roadway, bicycles, roller blades.....etc and worked for a fountain delivered cold drink and.....a Dairy Queen (large) dipped ice cream cone (free from DQ)....
I just came across ya’ll today! 💜
I’m so glad I did. I have a Catahoula / Border Collie mix. Their eyes are seriously the sweetest 😩😭
I know it’s like there is a human behind them ❤️
I have had 3 Border's and have only one left now.
I have a lot of scratches because of mine even though he's only a half!
@@asurashi2413 Yeah me too. Every dog owner will at some point have scratches on their arms, sometimes the face.
Bamboo is tasty to goats too!. One nice large basket for gathering veg from the garden eaten to the frame.
My border collie used to chase ants in the summer snow in the winter and me the rest of the year
My bordercolllie barks at the sun and attack lightstrobes in the house hahah
Mine barks at the sun too, and aeroplanes lol
Oh man my boy is a border collie x New Zealand Huntaway. The huntaway in him makes him huuuge and he has such a loud deep bark 😳 he definitely herds kitties and sometimes my mice in their cage 🤣 doesn’t take much of a liking to other dogs just because he’s trying to herd them and he gets overly bossy about dog behaviours he deems as rude. He’d much rather play fetch with his favourite person ever (me, mum) 🥰
Sounds so much like joker! He’s huge and get jelly easy! Lol border collies love their mums hehe
My border collie loves to watch tv, esp. Nat Geo Wild and Cesar Milan.
yeah bamboo is tasty you can buy bamboo shoots canned at the store for recipes that require it.
LOL! TY.
Thanks for my collie fix just what I needed
The bamboo curtain reminds me of a conversation with a border collie owner in my old neighborhood.
Me: my dog keeps destroying the screen of the balcony door, now I give up.
Neighbor: that's how we made a dog door there...
I have a border collie that is smart and acts like a k9 and is one, they also are longed hair and the tail is fluffy that we named him fluffy, we have a another border collie thats only like 1 year old and stills looks like a puppy but she is not, she has a fluffy tail and we named her cookie because she looks like a oreo cookie :). Thanks reading my looooooong comment.
Those are such adorable names and I'm sure they go perfect with those adorable pups!!!
I own a border collie/German shepherd mix, and I recognize 1:52 5:00 7:50 (especially 7:50) and 8:43.
I have bored collie puppy .i love them.they always play full
I have a coolie which is black and the only one! She loves food, and belly rubs! And snuggles with us a lot!
Lol I saw the jolly ball and thought, "What? Cool!" lol then I saw where you're at and was like, "Ah. That explains it. Haha."
My collie doesn't allow me to dry her with towel after bath🙁
my border collie chewed up the corner of our stairs
Spray vinegar and bitter cherry on your stuff. That stopped my dog.
So you have met my welsh border collie!. We had a pet rat who had fits, because he was poorly we kept his cage in the lounge. When he ways about to fit. Beau would pull the cage to the middle of the lounge to tell us to look after hi. I think you have met our dog. She iso like yours. Really enjoyed your video.. your woofs are lovely ☺️ Ivy reminds me of Beau 😂
I love my BC but unfortunately hes not a cuddle type ;c
But I forgive him cuz he is so smart I can talk to him like to a normal person to do that, take that, bring this etc.. its amazing pup.
Yeah mine couldn't get enough cuddling last night... he slept in the crate beautifully with a few potty breaks...I brought him on the bed to get under a warm cozy blanket and he's like nah .. you're smothering me , put me down lady , I need my space .. personal space .. I'm like ok..😑.. I'll let him let me know when he's ready to cuddle. I sure hope I didn't ruin it like a needy girlfriend. 🤣... I actually think he misses his siblings a bit. He did heard my husband and I on a walk . He's whining rn. I'm feeling totally consumed unlike any dog I've ever had. I'm an Empty nester, kids all grown and will Always be home so...I'm looking forward to this journey. Mine is named Fredrick. 😁
They tend to develop this. Harley Quinn didn’t start smothering me until she hit 1 year and now it’s full force. Ivy was the same way took her some time. But joker he’s been on my head since I brought him home 😅
My Judy became a cuddled after age 10! Not at all for the first 5-6 years
probably more interesting to explore than cuddeling at that age🐶
The cat!! I love it. This is a common occurrence in my home. Their self control amazes me
The cat is like man am just tryna walk
My Aussie Collie tried to herd me all the time 😂😂 He also will sit in my bathroom while I use it 🤦🏾♀️
My collie picks those puzzles up and dumps the whole things upside down. He decided child safety locks on the cabinets were more fun to figure out. He ate a whole bag of sugar while I was out one day. He got very Ill. Fortunately he remembers everything and never repeats a mistake.
I’m so glad your collie is ok!
Nothing better🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾
My Beckett's a Borador (so Border Collie/Lab mix) but the hearding random things made me laugh so hard. He's 10 weeks old and already trying to herd the cats.
Is he herding cars and bikes yet
@@vikingdogmanship we don't have a bike, cause we are rural and only recently got a path suitable for bikes. I trained him from a puppy to sit when cars pass, which thankfully prevented that, but he's 5 months now and has progressed to herding neighbors, houseguests, and me.
@@pinkpirate5 Got your self surrounded by a CollieCop there🤩 I got in a BC that used to herd everything (not people) But everything else moving. I decided to just walk him next to the bike to get used to the wheels. After a while i let him pull me on the bike and really getting out that "need for speed". He really enjoys it and now he is so much easier to teach. They are really fast thinkers, sometimes to fast😅
@@vikingdogmanship Where I can I'll just take him to an approved 'leash free' space and let him run with a house line so I can take control once he finds something to take his interest and I catch up. He has a lot of fun just running full speed. Only problem I have is trying to get the cats inside at night, cause he wants to help and his exuberance makes the cats want to bunker down and hide.
One of my border collies is herding ceiling pixies. (specks of light reflected off phones, tablets and even spoons...)
How true, we can verify it with 35 years of experience.
Yes. My dog herds the lawn mower and it is so funny.
We have a Lawn service and ivy heard the lawn mower from the kitchen window 😂
Mine used to herd my ex husband and myself as we walked her to the corner. Humans are so unruly.
Border collie hair! Its a fashion statement! Its a condiment!
my border collie would have had that done in about 20 seconds or less. talk about hyper . and yes midnight playing
we call the grey ones Blue Merles in the uk and they are considered to be more Welsh and the same colour occurs in Cardigan Corgies. (see 'Cardigan Corgies herding fish' upload :D).
Border collies are like oversized cats
Only BETTER in all ways !!
My border collie always chases shadows
My Border chewed and pulled the vinyl siding off my garage . Never had a Dog 🐶 do that ever .
