That is what happened to me first time I visited Siwa I couldn't find my hotel but after few calls by the TokTok driver we were able to locate it, also I wish you've taken that cake from your tour guy he said it was a gift and refusing a gift is not good thing in the eyes of these hospitable people, thank you for the video and tour because I lived there for one year ten years ago and I was able to recognize everything in that video which made me re-live very good memories💔this was the last touristic travel for me as I got retired 4 years after this and returned to my home country and don't travel anymore in this crazy new world we have transformed to.
Yeah I know it's rude to refuse a gift now, but I was new to Egypt at this time and didn't know then 😅 If I was in that situation now I would of course accept the gift 😁 I'm happy you were able to see Siwa again through my video! ❤️ And I definitely want to return again and make better videos the next time I go, now that I have been making videos for a while and improved a little bit.
@@Gventures I will be waiting your videos, the best time to go there is in the mid-fall where it is not cold and not hot and the sun rays are just right.
You should, it's beautiful! I haven't been there again since I made this video, and I wasn't there for long, so I also need to make it back there sometimes. Siwa is a very unique, special and beautiful place 😍❤️
@@Gventures I can't tell you how much I appreciate you sharing your adventures. When you announced that you were staying in Egypt I was a little curious as to why because I've seen you travel so many countries before always skipping around but I knew it had to be extraordinary for you to stay and you're proving it.

Oh no! That is insane. I'm so sorry to hear that. Having lived abroad you know how it is out there and it's hard for me to imagine such a situation, I would be flipping out. Hope you can make it out soon, sending love and power your way chica! ❤
Thanks riverghost! Siwa in awesome, I highly recommend visiting there and doing a safari in the Great Sand Sea if you have enough time in Egypt. I know Siwa is a long ways away from everything else though, so many people don't end up going there. But if you can make it, it's AWESOME. Can also spend the night out in the desert there.
Hi, Thank you for sharing your journey! I will have exact same route, which taking a overnight bus from Cairo to Siwa. Do you know how many days before does West Delt bus sell ticket for overnight bus? As I won't be able to buy the ticket before day. but I will be in Cairo 4 days before. Wondering i am able to buy it 4 days before taking the bus. Another question is what time does a bus departure from Siwa back to Cairo? Thank you for your time to answer my questions.
Thank you 吉澤雅絵! Yes I took West Delta bus to Siwa, you can buy your ticket to Siwa 4 days in advance no problem (Buy your tickets in person at Torgoman Bus Station for 250-295 EGP), I think I actually bought mine a few days in advance as well. You can even buy it the day before or probably even the same day you plan to go, but I would recommend buying it a few days in advance just to make sure you have a seat in case they fill up the bus. The bus to Siwa leaves only once a day at 7:30pm (if I recall correctly), and you'll arrive back in Cairo around 9-11am (depending on how long the checkpoints take and traffic). Happy to help, let me know if you have any other questions, and thanks so much for watching! 😁

The story about the lost Persian army of Cambyses is true according to Herodotus. I don’t think anything was ever found to verify it’s legitimacy.
