Hi, thank I you for your comment iraj Vf. I'll be showing different types of strikes separately, including knees in the coming months. Remember to subscribe and hit the bell icon so you don't miss when they are released.
@@CentralWingChun thank you for being online and responsible, wait! Another qustion if you show us types of shoulder strikes and takedowns it would be nice!!!!because i really didn't found them on the whole YT.
Just watched all 3 episodes... Some neat stuff on display sir 👍. Just one query : In this first vid you are demonstrating whilst crossing your cover arm over the active wrist thereby locking it up. Genuinely curious as to why that is, no slight intended .
Thank you very much for your comment and question. When doing the inward horizontal elbow I prefer to put my guard hand at the side of my face so it isn’t trapped inside the triangular structure of the elbow. This makes it easier to defend if the opponent counters the elbow strike by moving around you in the direction the elbow is travelling. The active hand (elbow arm) is still free as you can lower the elbow or deliver a fak sau type motion from this position. By doing it like this, I find that the cover hand can cover the space on the blind side more effectively and both arms can still attack. Both options have their time and place and my opinion on this has changed throughout the years, but I guess as long as there are still both offensive and defensive options from the position one chooses to use and it does the job it’s a good choice.
@@CentralWingChun cheers for that 👍. The blindside guard makes absolute sense ( I resent being punched in the face at the best of times 😂) personally when I show this I collapse the wrist of the active arm to the chest keeping both arms free without the need for reposition hence the query. Appreciate the detailed response. Stay safe and have a top day 😁
