    Why did you use the zip tie? Does the clip break when you separate it?

      Found your answer on one of other youtube videos comments (I was also curious about this):
      "One thing that should be done when replacing the top of the pump housing is to slightly bend the metal prongs in and when you put the top back on listen for the two clicks then use a heavy duty zip tie around those clamps to keep the clips from spreading. When you fire the bike up the top off the pump has a lot of pressure and if the slips are not seated the correct way it will pop off and could break the housing (ask me how I know this!). If you go on to the ADV rider site under the Orange Crush forum there is a very detailed thread on this very subject."
