With multiple launches and great themeing, it rivals Cheetah Hunt at Busch Gardens in Tampa, Florida as one of the best family coasters on the planet.

this ride is way more intense than it looks. That first launches really packs a punch to the stomach. It’s still really fun and you laugh and scream and put your hands up in the air. I got ejected out of my seat multiple times as well (ejector airtime) and it was fun. You don’t feel like you’ll fall out. You get held down by the restraint so you’re fine. Overall great coaster ❤
I know I'm a little late to reply but I totally agree. I went on this for the first time the other day and it's alot more fun then I thought it was going to be. Alot of air time, which is the most fun.
Heyy this was one of the first roller coasters that helped me get OVER my fear of roller coasters when I was a little kid lol! I went to SeaWorld San Diego with cousins 3 or 4 summers in a row when I was 10-14. In the beginning they were ride lovers and I was a ride chicken, but I always went on this and Atlantis with them anyways bc they made it look so fun and I WANTED to learn to like it. By the time I was 14 I was going on these rides 3 or 4 times in a row with them and being bummed when we had to stop LOL. For that, this will always be one of my favorites:)
Honestly, one of my favorite coasters. It’s just a pure, fun little coaster, and a perfect fit for a small park like SWSD.
Rode this ride 9 times (in a row) the other day; SO WORTH IT! Love screaming “feel the rush on manta!” With the operator.
Pretty fast in person and the second launch gives me goosebumps everytime. Favorite ride!

i remember this one! I went on it on my 16th birthday i believe. My friend kept begging me to go on the really scary one, but i'm terrified of roller coasters so we compromised and I went on this one with her. It's fun, but the drops😵

It depends if u like quick launches and turning quickly that hill under the walkway feels like your gonna fall off the seat
Just went there. I rode the manta, and it was amazing!
DO NOT JUDGE this ride on how it looks, it rides way better. I get ejector airtime on at least half of the hills, great coaster
how is your camera so smooth!! No shakiness or anything. And it looks so great, even in the dark!!!!

I love manta manta is my favorite ride at SeaWorld San Diego. I went on it before.
I’ve always been a scaredy cat and this was my first ever coaster. 40mph, I was so scared but it’s so fun!!

I rode this 2 times but why in the 2nd launch it slows down
I noticed that as well. I put my hands up for the launch but didn’t feel much. That turnaround after the launch really pulls strong lateral forces but then it just feels slow.
Is the forward and backward part of the launch in the start I was wondering
I’ve been on this and it’s fun. I think it was dumb to build arctic rescue since manta and it are both multi launch 40 mph family coasters in the same park

I went on this in October, I loved the launch. Not the best roller coaster for me because it goes like up and down and twists. It’s ok.
Is this ride scary??? I want to know since i went to sea world and basically chicken out. I went on space mountain, matterhorn, indiana jones, and thunder mountain. And wanted to know if it was kinda like those rides???
though i haven’t ridden it, I can confirm this is a family coaster and is just a step above space/thunder mountain
