    Hey man,
this video was a fantastic watch and listen in my opinion.
I am glad you were able to find the right moment to take that one step back. From the way it was detailed in the video and my personal young view on life, it certainly seems very important! Especially family relationships are not something to take for granted.
But I daren't say anything definitive in my youthful 22 year old voice as I do not believe that it would be my place.
I wish you and your family all the best!

I can relate to this story and am happy you were able to overcome the perils of success for lack of a better way to put it. I enjoyed the AI assets too.

A serious cautionary tale to be sure. I hope you find proper balance again.

Great video. This is what not everybody understands thanks for showing some cons of that industry that are easily overlooked. Hope you’re doing better now!

Thanks Busa! Ya it's a bit of a trap, or hole, depending how you end up falling into it, but yes I have some new things in the works so feeling better about that!

Great video! Could also easily be turned into a podcast. One comment, it would be worth adjusting the volumes a bit, the music at times makes it hard to hear you.

Great video but please ease up on the AI imaging….. i’d rather watch you talk than be bombarded with AI. I turn away from AI voice videos too, but you have a excellent speaking voice.

You seem to be overly optimistic and entrepreneur type. This is not working for mass production and engineering. As an engineer you have to be negative or you will fail and get sued by customers. You have to force yourself to think about all the possible ways you can screw up the production and delivery and come up with assessment and plan for each risk (FMEA plan). Even for very very simple products we had like over a 100 risks. Most of those risks were experienced in production, they were not just made up.

The man is selling lamps not high end sports cars. I don't think you need to do all that for simple commodity items. Your way over thinking it.

Production is really really hard. Reall really. And you don't have the skillset and mindset for that. You have to learn lean processes and six sigma process controls, quality control plans and imrovement strategy tools. That can be learned only working at a decent manufacturing plant. I worked 12 years at 3 electronics manufacturing plants and one of them was a pretty decent company.. Most people including research and design engineers does not understand scaling, mass production or design for mass production. Having a working prototype is 99% unscalable. Most kickstarters fail because they don't understand mass production.
Also.... 3D printing is unhealthy to some degree because of the fumes released. Right now everybody ignores the risks. A ticking bomb that will exlode in the future.
Great video. Do video, not 3D printing. Keep it as a hobby and as a useful tool.
