Caves of Steel takes place in a future New York City. On the overpopulated future Earth, cities are gigantic metropolises encased under steel domes where people live in cramped conditions and subsist on processed food, never seeing the sky.

radio plays are a dying art.
Personally, I prefer ones with more natural sounding dialogue and environmental sounds instead of explanatory monologues - it makes it sound more like a radio play and less like an audiobook or podcast

Asimov is not my favourite of sci fi authors, but really enjoyed this article one. Had a feel of "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep." Now's there's a brilliant listen!

(no spoilers cos it doesn't make any sense) ~ 1:11:54 - when did Daniel become an et , what's with all this "we" didn't want to interfere blah blah - then it switches back to them reiterating he's a robot - he was programmed to do blah - maybe it'll work itself out in next ten mins...

There is a jarring sudden cut around 23:21 and possibly elsewhere. This version is 5min shorter than other versions on RUclips. I suggest listening to this on another channel.
