Thank you so much! For anyone who’s still having issues, if you go to settings > wifi on your phone and select the HP network available, it helps your printer and phone connect
I did that and found the default password is 12345678 but once it’s connected, I click back on the HP app and it prompts me to start over! I’m so over this printer.

this was only helpful the first time I connected to the printer if you are struggling connecting to the internet for the 2nd time just go to settings on computer then go to devices and then printers and scanners and add your printer to it. it worked for me after 30 minutes of trying to connect
Printer will not connect to internet something to do with 2.4GHz vs what I have 5 GHz. Do you know how to get around this. Do I need to sign into the router and change the settings? Not computer savvy and would appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks
I save documents that I have taken a picture of and your store in my iPhone pictures folder. Can I select a document from the pictures folder and have a print out?
Hp is such a piece of shit "plug it in and download the app" okayyyyy THEN WHAT? Never would have known that I needed to press those buttons. Youre a life saver man.
If it’s not found. Click on your printer from the Wi-Fi options then go back to the hp app and it will ask you to put in your Wi-Fi password. Hope this helps, it just worked for me. Make sure you get back under your regular Wi-Fi once complete.

Yep tried this but it prompts for a password. So I don’t know HP’s password…

What if it isnt finding the printer

Mine didn't work this way, I have to connect to printer from my phone's settings -> wifi -> HP printer... strange!

One important step, this only works on the 2.4hz wifi NOT 5G so be sure you are in the correct band.

If printer is not showing up then keep printer near the router or area where wifi signal is strong. Also it can only connect to 2.5 G network not 5 G.
