as a former anti-furry, I got into it when I was 9-10, I didn't know much about furries but the memes made me hate the furries, that they were bad and not acceptable. I slowly realized that furries weren't the case, it was the Zoo's, so I stopped hating furries and started hating Zoo's.

I used to be very anti-furry. I pretty much saw them as a disease. Part of my reasoning for doing so was just my own insecurities. Over time, I tried to live around less toxic people and embrace the parts of myself I actually liked. Now, I can confidently admit that I am a furry. But really though, I don't even hate anti-furries. I just feel bad for them. I know what its like to be stuck in an endless cycle of hate.

Met an anti-furry as a "coworker" for a roblox game. From the second he found I was a furry he started posting flashgitz "suffer no furry xeno" videos or something. anyway it turns out that he and half the staff started running "psy-ops" like having a burner account spam "you will never be a woman" in the announcements channel, and they co-ran an account to harass me on. ended up destroying the entire game to get to me. couple years later, original owner (the one that ignored this until they finally banned me from our server) invited me back. I declined because I knew he wouldn't have my back; and now I work on a non-roblox game for a living.

I was fairly open about being a furry in school, and most people didn't really care. It was often the subject of a joke but never really anything more. BUT this one guy absolutely went out of his way to hassle me any time he saw me. Looking back on it, the guy was an academic dropkick, didn't do any sports, barely had any friends, had no hobby except playing Fortnite. I think he was just angry that he had nothing going for him and saw me as someone to point a finger at and say "but he's a furry so he's more of a loser than I am". Good riddance champ.

hi, burner acc here. i can prove a ton of the information in this video to be true, as i used to be an anti furry for around 2 years. and while yes, a massive amount of the fault lies with me, as i did do... well, the generic things that anti furries do, but luckily to a lesser extent. however, i was very vulnerable at the time, as i have had no friends at all due to the only close friend i had betraying me for the sake of his own entertainment. so over time, i slowly became an anti furry just to not get bullied in class, as all the guys, well, were anti furries. and well... id say that the same excuses in this videos are the exact same excuses i used over, and over, and over again. every single one. it could even be said that anti furries are a bit more of a cult, as those excuses are repeated over and over again until it becomes essentially a mantra for someone. and while i wasnt in any special group, so i cant say anything about those, i know that even with one friend like that, especially when youre facing some harsh times, you can easily be manipulated into this blind, hateful obsession. even years after i cut contact with the person and snapped out of that obsession, i still feel the impact it had on me. and the only reason why i snapped out was due to a friend becoming a furry. that friend may have not been that close, and that caused me to feel nothing but sheer rage, and i didnt talk to him for a month or so. i had a ton of time for introspeciton, as the emotions piling up caused a lot of restless nights. but finally, one of my closest friends got me to talk to him again, and i realized how wrong i was. but it turned out that affected me in a way too. my entire worldview being shattered affected a ton of me. that lack of anything filling my heart, any emotion, caused me to try to fill it up again. with utter hatred, again. but the one who i hated more than anyone was myself this time. i said that i must cause myself suffering equal to tenfold of what i caused. to this day, i still feel guilt due to even the smallest things ive done in that period. i still hate myself over it. but slowly, this guilt is beggining to wash away, as i became closer friends with the friend who became a furry. now hes my closest friend, and what lets me continue on living. he helps me finally accept what ive done and move on. so, please. for anyone who read this. do not ever become an anti furry. not for anyone elses sake, but your own.

I had an encounter with one of them in Blood and Iron. They called themselves “1st Antifurrishe Battalion”. They were fairly well organised, but they couldn’t defeat our cavalry bois and a trench we (the French team, they were Prussian) called “the Napoleon Line”. We won, but the next time, our team got too proud of themselves and all charged and died. There were only 5 of us (3 with muskets, and 2 artillerists) against a horde of 17. But we stood our ground, and won. Then someone wrote in the chat: “How was that, Cringen-SS?”

Yes, I see your point. For example I've multiple times asked anti-furs what is wrong with furries and time after time, the answer was "oh yeah it's cringe" then I asked "how exactly is it cringe?" And it's always a similar thing like "they dress up as animals" and that is their narrative instead of going against the actual problems. Been a furry for nine years now. You summed it up very well. Most of us understand that furry haters don’t understand what furries are. To many the furry fandom is a form of self expression, yes it’s weird but dressing up as the anthro characters (that most of the time represent us as a person/what we want to be) helps a lot of people break out of their shell. We know we are weird but it’s what makes us happy. It’s a wonderful community honestly and probably the most accepting I’ve ever been in.
People with an obsession grow up. They would then look back at them and say "...Wow, I can't believe I was like that. Crazy times..." I experienced this already.

I used to be very anti-furry. I pretty much saw them as a disease. Part of my reasoning for doing so was just my own insecurities. Over time, I tried to live around less toxic people and embrace the parts of myself I actually liked. Now, I can confidently admit that I am a furry. But really though, I don't even hate anti-furries. I just feel bad for them. I know what its like to be stuck in an endless cycle of hate.

From the second he found I was a furry he started posting flashgitz "suffer no furry xeno" videos or something. anyway it turns out that he and half the staff started running "psy-ops" like having a burner account spam "you will never be a woman" in the announcements channel, and they co-ran an account to harass me on. ended up destroying the entire game to get to me. couple years later, original owner (the one that ignored this until they finally banned me from our server) invited me back. I declined because I knew he wouldn't have my back; and now I work on a non-roblox game for a living.

I was fairly open about being a furry in school, and most people didn't really care. It was often the subject of a joke but never really anything more. BUT this one guy absolutely went out of his way to hassle me any time he saw me. Looking back on it, the guy was an academic dropkick, didn't do any sports, barely had any friends, had no hobby except playing Fortnite. I think he was just angry that he had nothing going for him and saw me as someone to point a finger at and say "but he's a furry so he's more of a loser than I am". Good riddance champ.

i can prove a ton of the information in this video to be true, as i used to be an anti furry for around 2 years. and while yes, a massive amount of the fault lies with me, as i did do... well, the generic things that anti furries do, but luckily to a lesser extent. however, i was very vulnerable at the time, as i have had no friends at all due to the only close friend i had betraying me for the sake of his own entertainment. so over time, i slowly became an anti furry just to not get bullied in class, as all the guys, well, were anti furries.
and well... id say that the same excuses in this videos are the exact same excuses i used over, and over, and over again. every single one. it could even be said that anti furries are a bit more of a cult, as those excuses are repeated over and over again until it becomes essentially a mantra for someone. and while i wasnt in any special group, so i cant say anything about those, i know that even with one friend like that, especially when youre facing some harsh times, you can easily be manipulated into this blind, hateful obsession.
even years after i cut contact with the person and snapped out of that obsession, i still feel the impact it had on me. and the only reason why i snapped out was due to a friend becoming a furry. that friend may have not been that close, and that caused me to feel nothing but sheer rage, and i didnt talk to him for a month or so. i had a ton of time for introspeciton, as the emotions piling up caused a lot of restless nights. but finally, one of my closest friends got me to talk to him again, and i realized how wrong i was.
but it turned out that affected me in a way too. my entire worldview being shattered affected a ton of me. that lack of anything filling my heart, any emotion, caused me to try to fill it up again. with utter hatred, again. but the one who i hated more than anyone was myself this time. i said that i must cause myself suffering equal to tenfold of what i caused.
to this day, i still feel guilt due to even the smallest things ive done in that period. i still hate myself over it. but slowly, this guilt is beggining to wash away, as i became closer friends with the friend who became a furry. now hes my closest friend, and what lets me continue on living. he helps me finally accept what ive done and move on.
so, please. for anyone who read this. do not ever become an anti furry. not for anyone elses sake, but your own.

Been a furry for nine years now. You summed it up very well. Most of us understand that furry haters don’t understand what furries are.
To many the furry fandom is a form of self expression, yes it’s weird but dressing up as the anthro characters (that most of the time represent us as a person/what we want to be) helps a lot of people break out of their shell.
We know we are weird but it’s what makes us happy. It’s a wonderful community honestly and probably the most accepting I’ve ever been in.
