No, what he was saying is that how Cench is the biggest UK artist. Back in 2020 Dutch was set to be the biggest UK artist with all the records he was breaking, European features etc. no one was doing it like that at the time & then he got cancelled end of 2020 & then Cench blew up properly 2021 overtaking Dutch with the formula.
No one is saying he would be exactly where Cench is now but it was looking possible. Remember Cench has a cleaner brand, Caucasian etc which allows him to cut through. The only thing I can see helping Dutch at the time reach the states would have been the deepness of his voice and “bad boy” image but I guess we’ll never know
