    The ladies selling banana fritters r so happy to see u, Steve n Ivana. Their laughter is contagious. I cant help laughing too. The tricycle looks unsafe to ride on. Looks like anytime can dismantle by itself. Ice cream in a burger looks yummy 🤤 . Great video shared today. Tq Ken.

    09:42 - tatlong saging = three bananas ..... 1 = isa // 2 = dalawa // 3 = tatlo // 4 = apad // 5 = lima // 6 = anim // 7 = pito // 8 = walo // 9 = siyam // 10 = sampo. Um die Zahlen mit einem Subjekt (wie Bananen) zu verknüpfen, kommt hinter der Zahl dann in dem Fall noch ein ng, was aus tatlo = tatlong macht (ist halt Grammatik)

    Nice vlog again Ken! 😊 some Filipinos preferred to eat with their hands its most common on provinces and at home and also the boodle fight we use our hands. But when eating at restaurants or outside we mostly use spoon and fork.

    35:39 the Philippine ice cream or sorbetes is different because instead of using the usual milk we use coconut milk and the ice cream have tidbits of fruits or cheese

      @@KenAbroad BGC for Christmas, New Years in Makati between the 10tth and 15th floor, or even better Mistral Rooftop Bar at Ruffles Hotel, you'll be blown away. Then first week of January is the biggest street party fiesta in the PI called Sinulog in Cebu City.

    Just some insight for you regarding Filipinos: there are some meals eaten with a spoon and fork, but many meals are, in fact, eaten with your hands. Many provincial meals are rice+ whatever and are hand scooped. Thank you, Ken, for this cool video. Your friends seem amazingly nice and fun!

    Divisoria is super super loud this month because the christmas and new year are approaching hahahaha. instead of selling fireworks, they sell trumpet for the safety of everyone :)

    41:24 most Filipinos from rural areas eat with their hands, even my wife does it in Germany, while we are alone in our house.

    to all people , Manila has ultramodern places to eat now like in BGC , makati greenbelt, greenhills,etc..street foods like here are in old places of manila mostly low income people but food is delicious

    We actually do eat with our hands. Its called kamayan(ka-mai-yan) kamay meaning hand. If go to the province or poorer parts they eat with their hands. But if you go to a Kamayan style restaurant or participate in a boodle fight(google it) they eat with their hands.

    well when people eat or buy food from the street in the philippines are mostly meddle class or lower class [in the philippines there is a category people which some countries dont have this] but street food in PH are clean.mostly rich people in the PH they dont eat street food ,but some rich people eat street food bcoz its very cheap compare to the restaurants

    In Philadelphia there are side street sellers who sell pretzels. We call these pretzels "Dirty Street Pretzels". It's not common to hear that combination of words together. All it ever means is bought on the street, rather than from a store.

    Hi! The banana is actually a plantain variety, a cooking banana locally called "saba". The banana cue and turon (wrapped in spring roll wrapper) is coated with brown sugar. Tricycle is the term called for the tuktuk type motorbike. The "kuliglig" or "habal habal" is the same but just a bit in configuration but its a term used in the rural areas. 😅❤😅❤😅 Enjoy your stay here! Filipino locals will really make you feel welcome!

    They’re laughing because banana among with other “foods” is actually a “softer” term for penis here in PH. Then you’re asking which is more “masarap” between the three sizes (small, medium, large) which for an imaginative mind.. I think you’ll get the context 🤣

    They do use their hands to eat food. It's quite common in the Philippines. You need to go to a barbecue palace there. And then you will see lots of people eating with their hands. Even in the grill houses they eat without ans. So do your research and you will find out I am correct.
