I like the leaf green. I think it had some depth. I also really like the use of the white gel pen that’s the way I would’ve gone and plan to if I choose this painting. Since I waxed my watercolor paintings I’m automatically multimedia so adding gouache or gel pens Won’t make a difference.
What a brilliant idea to use contact paper!! Your turtle is gorgeous!!!! And I love the background. I need to get some of Holbein colors that you used that I don’t have so I can try this. I only use Holbein.

Thank you 🙏🏻 so much for your comments!! At the time I used Vandyke brown a lot but since then I have started to use burnt umber and was so excited to see that it is a much richer warmer brown! So now I am always using Burnt umber lol. I love rich vibrant colors as you can tell haha. Love that you asked that 🥰❤️

I will actually buy this today to test it out and let you know how it goes on my watercolor paper.
