Poodles are my favorite dog. I have had Standard Poodles and Miniature Poodles and now I want a Toy Poodle so bad I can't stand it. I have had Poodles my whole life and I'm now 52 years old. I loved your video as it reminded me of how nice it is to have a little puppy. She is such a cutie. For many years I lived with a delightful little poodle mix. He was an amazing little being. Smart, loving, loyal. These little poodle dogs are very special - SMART, dignified, very sensitive, energetic and eager to please. Only advice is to learn all you can about what dogs need in general and then get to know your own little girl for the individual that she is. They are all different, just like we are. To be a dog parent is so fantastic. Wishing you many years of joy!

You pup is adorable. My toy poodle will be 9 this coming June. My family look y owns a total of 9 poodles all sizes. Poodles are the smartest. She learn everything she needs to know from both of you. Just don't forget she is a baby, treat her as such. The more you cuddle her the better she will turn out. The more you take her out the better she will act as she grows older. A routine is also important.
I have two toy poodles now and have had several over the years. They are some of the very best babies that can bring joy in your life and you will have many years of enjoyment and pleasure. I wouldn't trade my babies for anything in this whole wide world. I am absolutely sure that you will totally love your little girl and she will do the same with you. Please remember, no avocado, no grapes or grape products, im positive you have made the right decision by choosing your little girl.
Joen - don't take Lare out and expose her unnecessarily before her final vaccine. It isn't worth it. Also, I would strongly recommend you and Amelia watch Cesar Milan (The Dog Whisperer). If you follow his direction, you will have a well-trained, calm, happy, and well-behaved dog for life. But the only way to get her there successfully is if you are both on the same page at all times. What an adorable puppy - and now she is virtually two years of age, and I'm sure as cute as ever! I have an 11-week old cavoodle, and our vet said it's important not to take them to dog areas (in parks, for example) until her 3m vaccinations, as they can catch diseases from other dogs even when they're not present. So we give her little romps in grassy areas that are a less frequently used by others, just for the time being. Your dog is obviously very loved and well-cared for, which is so lovely to see, every pooch deserves a good home. Greetings and good wishes from Australia.

After all, you are a couple on the go and you will want to take Lara along for the adventure. The more she adapts the less she will act out when you least want her to. I speak from experience as we are travelers and our dog goes with us everywhere. He understands in the plane he needs to be quiet and stay in his carrier and at the hotels, he has his designated space. Didn't take long for Lara to join you in the bed - not laughing! Guess where our dog sleeps??? 😱🤣🤗❤💋. Already subscribed to Lara's channel.
She is positively adorable! I have always had many poodles and just recently during covid got a toy poodle. He is the best dog I have ever had. Affectionate active playful well behaved. I am now a total toy poodle person. Best of luck with your new baby!

My two cents worth-I think you should love her and respect her for being an intuitive, loving, and intelligent being. Nurture positivity and set up success with the peeing and pooping time. Yes, expose her to as many people and places as are in your daily routine, but no close contact with other dogs and don't overwhelm her. Also, I think the noise of the hair drier was a bit traumatic for the little one. You might want to towel dry her next time. I totally agree that she sleeps in your bed, just don't let her fall to the floor. She has always been with litter mates. It is so difficult to suddenly have no bodies to sleep with at night. Just love her and enjoy her.

She is so cute and get her a harness not a collar trust me I have 4 dogs a Dobermann and 3 chihuahuas so if you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask me.
I think taking her out in a bag is a great solution! Just make sure not to put her on the ground where se can sniff infected surfaces/pee/feces. Unfortunately parvo can be very dangerous for a little puppy. And I am sure you will be great parents to her. She is so special and beautiful!
