thank you !!!!!!! for u guys respond🤩🤩🤩
did you have any issues with compatibility of the plug in to power?
As long as the car is equipped with halogens from the factory, which will utilize a 10-pin plug, these should have no issues!
They are designed for NA market vehicles (US specifically), so compatibility outside of our market is uncertain, but we've sold these worldwide and not had any issues like that so far!
you guys thinking of doing this for the mk8s?
It could definitely happen!
Can you change the bulbs when they go out? Is there a certain light you can use
There are no LED bulbs - these are sealed beam LEDs meaning that the projector is a sealed unit, much like OEM LEDs are!
@ is there ever an instance of it needed to be changed if the light goes out?
@@andrewsolages3837 If the LED itself fails, you will need to remove the light to repair, however there are other replaceable components which can cause LEDs to not illuminate, such as the warning cancellers, which are easily replaced with the lights still installed!
The LEDs are meant to last a long time, things can fail, and have in the past, we certainly can't deny the possibility, but we've sold hundreds of these lights for various models, and they have been proven to be very reliable! We also test every set prior to shipping!
For the headlight adjustments, how far should the car be from the wall? And is there a height requirement for the height of the beam?
The standard rule of thumb is that the car should be about 25ft from the wall. Height is dependent on the vehicle and some local laws in some areas. But a safe way to do it would be to pull the car close to the wall and mark with tape where they are height-wise at the center of the beam, then back the car up to the 25ft mark and the beam should drop just 2" or so. The passenger side can be a little higher since we drive on the right side here in the States but that is a preference thing, most cars are set up like this from the factory.
What about trims with active cruise control? I’ve read that you need to “recalibrate” the system after installing the head lights?
I have not heard of that, the headlights are not typically used for adaptive cruise.
I guess the there are sensors in the front bumper that need to be disconnected when you take the bumper off, those sensors of for the ACC. Again, not sure if this is true but read it on a forum
How much condensation is normal? Is there anything I should do to combat?
You shouldnt be having any condensation, but if you do get some you'd want to ensure that the plugs on the back of the headlight are properly installed - if they are, remove the one with condensation, let it dry out, and reinstall - typically we do not see reoccurrences of it after that!
@@BMPTuning is that due to existing moisture inside the headlight? By drying it and resealing it shouldn’t happen again?
@@Joseluis_Santos We havent had it happen often tbh, but sometimes folks notice theyve lost the plug on the back or it wasnt seated correctly/etc.
