    "We've always defined ourselves by the ability to overcome the impossible. And we count these moments. These moments when we dare to aim higher, to break barriers, to reach for the stars, to make the unknown known. We count these moments as our proudest achievements. But we lost all that.
    Or perhaps we've just forgotten that we are still pioneers. And we've barely begun.

      They reach a maximum of 89 km. That is space by the US Air Force definition (80 km) but not by the most used definition (100 km). However, the atmosphere becomes thinner fluently, you cannot say where it ends. Every definition for the beginning of space is arbitrary. There is no beginning. So the obsession with the idea, that somebody was in "space", is a bit stupid.

    • @KiRiTO72987
      @KiRiTO72987 2 месяца назад +2

      Altitude isn't the issue when it comes.to heating velocity is, the faster a craft is going the more heat is generated on re entry basically when a spac craft re enters it converts it's kinetic energy into thermal energy to slow down by literally compressing the air in front of it a vehicle like this doesn't seem much re entry heating because it's not going fast enough to significantly compress the air since it pretty much just goes straight up once released from its carrier plane and then slowly glides back to the runway

Anything that is flying below the karman line, be it a plane, a helicopter, or even a ball you throw, while you could "technically" call it suborbital, it is just atmospheric. In order for something to really be considered suborbital, it should cross the karman line, but not have enough sideways velocity to achieve an orbit.

      US Air Force definition for the beginning of space is 80 km. You also get lift above 100 km, the speed just would be higher than orbital speed. The Karman line is an arbitrary definition. And actually the technical Karman line (so where the speed for aerodynamic lift gets as high as orbital speed) it is not even exact 100 km; they just choose that because it is such a nice number.

And this here was the seventh commercial flight. And the company is traded at the stock exchange, they clearly would be sued heavily if their business was a giant fraud.

      Small-minded opinion enslaved by the myth of scarcity. Exactly what resources are being wasted? None of these materials or money left the planet. And, that's going to be the case for humanity if we don't push these boundaries.

    In the after flight press char, investors do not need to hear political talk as to why you got flags in your pockets. That question should not have been asked at all. You need to clean this up and there seems to be a UK attitude here. I am extremely ANGRY @ 88 cents per share & have contacted SEC to SPCE DE Listed.
