    I find it very disrespectful that people ask you that, but I also understand where they’re coming from. I think it says a lot about your big heart and humbleness, that you created this video! A pleasure to watch your videos and being in your energy, as always, Monika! ❤

    • @zazilicious

      Why is it disrespectful? We all want to be able to afford luxury items so if she can put us on game why not? She isn’t obligated to adresse our comments!

    • @RalucaBlajut
      @RalucaBlajut Год назад

      @@zazilicious How would you feel if, for instance, you get out of the supermarket with 3 bags full of food, you go towards your car to put those groceries in your car and suddenly someone approaches you and asks you “How did you afford to buy all that food?”. We are each on different financial levels. There are people that are richer and people that are poorer than us (unless you’re Elon Musk, but even he isn’t always on top). Each lives the way they can and there will always be people who look at you and ask themselves how you can afford something, even if for you that something seems normal, like groceries or having a roof over your head.
      I doubt it that you can mimic exactly what Monika did to afford what she can afford. Because she has her own unique set of skills, just like each of us do. Maybe ask yourself what kind of value you can best bring to the world, how you can serve more people through your skills, and that will increase your revenue. But asking what another random person on the internet did to be able to afford what they can afford is a recipe for disaster to me.

      @@RalucaBlajut I’m sorry I’m not trying to read all that girl you wrote an essay 😂😂. It’s a RUclips channel and people ask all sorts of questions and she has the choice and the right to answer or ignore just like the silly example you just gave me. Like I said maybe she has tips and she did for us! I find her answer very informative. I always want to know how people are able to afford luxury items because I too would love to have a collection like this; you’re reaching it’s not that deep.

      I loved her answers as well, she is very humble and down to earth. 🥰

      @@RalucaBlajut But they didn’t ask what she does for a living or were rude about it. Maybe it could have been formulated differently like can you give us tips on how you are able to obtain luxury items. It’s intriguing because she’s young. Had she said my husband buys it for me then I would have been like ok time to find me a husband 😂😂 I loved how she explained that everyone as their thing and she’s not much into fancy cars so they don’t spend much on their cars or food. She seems to have her head on her shoulders. I often wonder the same thing about RUclipsrs with a large perfume collection too.

    I agree with this so much! I don’t really care about a lot of stuff, but I do care about perfumes and books and I redirect a lot of money towards those. Many people ask me how I can afford expensive fragrances and to have a big collection, but what they don’t understand is that I don’t spend money on many other things.

Love your perfume reviews. I still have a lot of them to try. My collection is just a few now but as you mentioned I have different priorities at this point in my life than spending a lot of money to buy bunch of expensive niche fragrances. I would love to but have to restrain myself a bit. Meanwhile I’ll watch your fragrance videos and enjoy your recommendations. They help me a lot with my selection of samples to try. Monika we need more people like you in this world who aren't afraid or embarrassed to share their journey with others. You'll be further blessed when you help other people to understand what sacrifices they may need to make in order to have some of life's pleasures. I don't think it's disrespectful at all for someone to ask how you afford to do what you do. Unfortunately our educational system doesn't teach kids the skills they need for most entrepreneurial ventures, fostering talents and learning how to handle money, finances and investments. We're all left to the wolves to try to pick up those skills on our own and that's really a shame; it's one of the biggest problems with human culture in general. Most business owners inherit their businesses from family and the monopolies continue on down the line because only a few newcomers have the means to start from scratch. Business owners guard their secrets well and don't ever want to share their knowledge and skills with anyone else thus making it difficult to compete with them. Thank you for being brave enough to share what you know with others!!

    Your mindset around money is the same as mine. Could be because we are from a similar region and that's how our parents taught us 🥰 Back when I was a student, I had people ask me, "how can you afford it?" (But my things weren't high luxury, just mid-luxury). And I'd say, "you don't see me with a cup of coffee every day, do you? That's $20 a week savings. I just choose to spend my money differently." There is a great book that I've read called A Millionaire Next Door and you explained many of the points made in the book such as driving an old car, but a paid off car. And look at you now, you're driving a Lexus!! I hope you still love it! 😍

You are so right about targeting what you really want. I fell in love with my now husband here in Scotland. We scrimped and saved for me to move here and become a citizen! Luxury goods are a scam. The people that own/run these companies are worth billions and when you buy their overpriced goods (for a label) you just become poorer. You think you’ll feel better but it’s only temporarily. If you are trying to impress your friends, you need new friends. I drive a 22 year old car, proudly. I retired at age 51, proudly. Freedom is more important to your soul than 1000 Prada bags. If you are very wealthy then you CAN have both. But most people aren’t and only one can give you true happiness 💕

I used to think luxury brands were quality but then I learned my lesson when I squandered my savings for a Furla bag that began losing red gluey paint even after I brought it back to the boutique for reparations. I hope I'll never fall in the trap of luxury brands ever again. I'm here for quality not for the name of so called "luxury brands" who pretend they respect you (not even that with brands like Chanel or Hermès) when actually they only want to milk as much money as possible from customers.

    I agree, divide your money and leave a little found for your beauty or hobby expenses because a life of only privation is not worth it, spend it on little things or accumulate for luxury. Please, learn to invest and save, even a 200 $ or € investment can be rewarding in time. And be extremely carefull with debit card, they exist to keep you poor, with debit card you can be well dress and poor...it is not worth it.
