Its probably the iOS 18 update. Their app is probably not updated to be compatible with the latest iOS. or, the app and/or camera simply bugged out. While I get the convenience of using the app, if you already have an SD Card reader then this is the way. They are basically nothing in your bag
I have learned that camera OEMs can be trusted to make cameras, not apps. Don't use their apps -- just don't (not even Leica's, which is supposed to be awesome) and you'll simply be happier because they know how to make cameras. They're not software devs that are constantly in sync with PC & Mac software devs. Just use a cable or a card reader and stop worrying about software issues. That will work.

Just go get a USB memory reader
As I mentioned I already have one but I do like using the WiFi connection and my issue is that the app is causing problems
