360° 3D Mapping Projection with Rabarama

- On the 10th of June 2011, an exciting new merge between technology and art was unveiled in Florence at the ANTIconforme exhibition.
Using state of the art 3D mapping, 360 projection and tailored graphics, production studio DrawLight and the renowned artist Rabarama have given a new lease of life to her famous sculpture 'Bozzolo'.

Il 10 giugno 2011, un'eccitante unione tra tecnologia ed arte è stata svelata a Firenze, all'esibizione ANTIconforme di Rabarama.
Attraverso l'uso di innovative tecniche di 3D video-mapping, proiezioni a 360° e grafica 3D, lo studio di produzione 3D DrawLight (www.drawlight.net) e l'artista Rabarama hanno dato una nuova vita alla famosa scultura 'Bozzolo'.

drawlight never failed to amaze me with all their works. they are truly artistic and delivers world-class quality cg's. no wonder the project with the famous sculptor rabarama was a very successful one.

Projection from the top? seems that way with the small texture stretching alongside the shoulders.
the closest we can get to the true beauty of cuttlefish... they change color using a series of special skin cells, chromatophores, iridophores and leucophores, which reflect light in all sorts of colors.
Did i mention the green blood, three hearts, best eyes in the animal kingdom, including the ability see backwards

Fantastic work, but strictly speaking it's not 360 otherwise you would have given us a full 360 continual shot.
I have actually 3d mapped using just one projector. =D
Otherwise, 3 projectors would do this without any major problems.
