M V Thanks! My husband is sikh. My in-laws celebrate both sikh and hindu traditions. I know many sikhs who celebrate karva chauth.. I’m sure many sikhs also celebrate christmas, easter, halloween etc so why not karva chauth ☺️..

I started watching you a few years ago. I remember seeing you comment under Farah Dukhai's video saying how you were a Punjabi or South Asian (can't remember exactly) MUA from Vancouver. I clicked your video and I believe that was when you were just getting into vlogging and it was cool to see a Punjabi youtube living in BC, since most of them are from Ontario. Anyways, I come from a traditional Punjabi household, so that means that girls can't drink or go out, etc., and it was cool (but also a surprise) to see you partaking in those activities. Then I remember you explaining your sister's age gap and how your parents were a lot more laid back and chill with you... probably because your sister paved the way on how to raise a first-gen Punjabi kid without being too strict and overbearing (which is great). I can kind of understand why traditionalists and close-minded might make comments here and there or not approve of certain things because it goes against a lot of things that they were taught. BUT, I honestly think it's a good thing to have people like you in the forefront on youtube or any other social media site. You're breaking down barriers and you're also being unapologetically yourself. It's sad that people are leaving hate comments, because I feel like most of those hate comments are projections of their insecurities, fears, etc. It has nothing to do with you, but you're just an easy target since you're a public figure. This is going off on a tangent, but long story short, I hope you continue to make content and vlogs. It's fun seeing you and your family + friends doing stuff together and we honestly need more Punjabi vloggers, especially from BC. :)
