- My three year Daysy Fertility Tracker review is finally here!! It feels so good to be hormone free and use a natural birth control to prevent pregnancy (for now!) ☺️ I tried to go into a lot of detail in this video, but if you have any questions please let me know in the comments down below! And yes, I realize that this is NOT an ideal method for everyone and that's more than okay, I just wanted to help get the word out there in case that you didn't know that it was an option for you 😊
ALSO even though this video is NOT sponsored, I was able to get a special affiliate link for you guys that gives you $15 off Daysy if you're interested in trying her out: join.daysy.me/...

I've been using Daysy for 6 years and love it! Mine is getting a little slow, so I'm wondering if it's time to order a new one. My cycles have been pretty regular until recently (I'm 47 and probably starting the dreaded "change"), so Daysy has been awesome. Like you, I treat yellow days as red days. :)
I also love that the recent app update now includes cervical fluid, period, and sexual activity notes as well!
Yes! I LOVE the new app!
It is so encouraging to hear that you’ve used it for 6 years!!
I have started using it in preparation for getting married:) Thanks for sharing your experience!
@@ashb593 You're welcome! If you're an intelligent and mindful user, it's really easy. I just got my 2.0 in the mail, and it's even better!
@@carascottvo Awesome!! So glad natural birth control is becoming more popular
Thank you so much for your video! You’re the only one thus far who has answered all my questions (I have watched over 15+ videos) and have gone on their site! So many women are giving their results, but leave out the details of whether or not they use the pull out method or not which is what many women getting off of other b/c methods need to know!
Have been using it for 2 years without the pull out method, and it has worked great!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO! I LOVE how open and honest you were. It is SUPER HELPFUL!
This is such a cool idea. We as well do the pull out method and I’ve never learned to track everything very well 😅 because that seems like a lot of work. But I also don’t want to be taking the pill or have things in me. I’ll look more into this.
Thank you! This was the most comprehensive review I have come across! About to start the journey and very excited less nervous after your video. 🙏💜✨
One of the best reviews! Thank you so much ❤️
Oh my god thank you so much for all this info. best review so far.
This was so helpfull and informative! I just orderd mine last night because i don't want to take birth control anymore, i've been off the pill for almost a year now and i feel so much better without it. A question wit the green light.. does it really mean that the man can ejaculate in you and you really won't get pregnant?? o.o
Yup!
Does your Daysy predict ovulation, for example, can you jump ahead and see if the red light will blink in say 2-3 days from now? Does it blink red on the actual day of ovulation/upon taking your temperature that morning? Can you skip back and forth on the device or is that all done in the app?
Neat! I’m going to have to give this a shot. 👍
Thank you so much for all this info! Do you take your temperature at the same time everyday? I like to sleep in on weekends and would like to know if I need to log in at the same time. o:-)
I talk about that at 14:52 😊
@@eliza_beth_clem thank you!!! very sweet reply, i def missed it :)
this is so cool! I just stopped my birth control, and I am so freaked out so this will come in handy! & I was laughing at the story with the girl you were pregnant hahaha
Yesssss so glad happy for you that’s such a huge change! Let me know if you have any questions 🥰
That’s so cool! Thank you for the information.
You’re so welcome!
Are periods considered red days?
I know this is an old video but what if I have a miscarriage while using Daysy? Do I input that I’m bleeding like a period like do I indicate I’m menstruating or no? Thank you for your help! I think I will purchase one of these. I have irregular periods and can’t take hormonal bc. My hubby and I need something reliable to track my cycles. I love a natural form of birth control. Thanks again!!
I wake up a lot at night :/ do I check my temp every time I wake up
Thank u so much!! I appreciate the info!
i have a question :) i just got daysy!
so for period input, you can only log three days for daysy, even if your period is 5? or can you log all 5 days of your period ? thanks!!
You can log all 5 days if you want to, but Daysy needs a minimum of three days. You should only log bright red active flow days and not spotting though 😊
Is daisy effective without any app on the phone?
Yup!
You can buy a basal thermometer for less than 20 dollars and write down your morning temperature on the included monthly graphs. And you have a record of your fertile time. You don't have to buy this expensive Bluetooth version. This is for people who can't afford the fancy version of a basal thermometer. It used to be only used to get pregnant. If you wanted a boy trying right at ovulation and a girl five days after.
You don’t have to buy an expensive version, but I like that it does allllllll the work for me. Daysy isn’t the only option, I just wanted to share what I personally use and love 🙂
@@eliza_beth_clem Do you know how many people ever got let down by Daysy, just asking. What's the fail rate with Daysy?
@@melodyabcdefghijklmnopqrst1663 The last study that I read said that Daysy is 99.4% effective IF used properly. The only birth control method that's 100% effective is abstinence :)
@@melodyabcdefghijklmnopqrst1663 The "real user" failure rate is around 3% (meaning there really are no "perfect users"). There were also some studies a few years ago where Daysy was being a little less than transparent with its customers, wonkiness in the new app, etc. but I think they've worked out the kinks.
But also, just like anything else, it also comes down to user error. If you're going to skip days and forget to take your temp, if you drink heavily every Friday and Saturday night (that throws off your body temp), take your reading without at least 2 hours of sleep beforehand, Daysy's going to be less reliable. Also, if you don't know the basics of what a typical BBT month looks like, where ovulation happens, that just because you're on your period doesn't mean your safe, etc... you kind of need to have some basic knowledge to use Daysy!
@@eliza_beth_clem in a long distance relationship. I approve of this message 🤣
Been off HBC 5 weeks now and using Daysy for 4 weeks and all yellow. Anyone know how long it take to track?
I’ve heard 2-3 full cycles. Make sure you sleep through the night and take your temp as soon as you wake up (don’t go to the br first or move around too much before taking your temp! It’ll affect how the daysy reads)
Why do you not mention diaphragm use for females? It is very effective especially combined with condoms. No hormones. I could never use hormones they could cause cervical cancer in my case and I never wanted to take that chance.
I didn’t mention diaphragm use because this video is about what I personally use as birth control 🙂
