I really really love this design, that rear is so unique and gives of a retro vibes for some reason. The painted color shield on the back doesn't look so good though, only the satin carbon fiber version. The design team did an amazing job all around with the front, back, sides and interior. If you can afford this, you're worthy of it.😄
@Kalyptic so true. All the different design cues they integrated into this Vanquish from the rear shield, to the new side strake and the louvers on the hood. As a package they give this Vanquish a distinctive look compared to its smaller siblings....just love it!😍
Interior design is as nice as the exterior. V12 drivetrain as well, its all there. If you have the funds and love a GT this is a must have in my opinion.
@filoniz no, not to my knowledge. You can option it the way you want during the design process....but it's not like you can purchase different versions and interchange them as you please. You never know, it could be a possibility if customers demand it....
I can't say out of experience, since I haven't driven it yet. The pano roof is quite tinted, but I think they should have done better by putting an electrochromic roof. Personally, I'd opt for the carbon fiber roof - I usually don't enjoy pano roofs
@@RichWithCars Thanks for the info! Really appreciate it! If fortune assists me I might order a DB12 next year... Still unsure about the panoramic roof and carbonceramic brakes. While I understand why the grill is so large (V12 needs lots of air) - I wish it was smaller. The rear shield looks like a bolt on piece. I tried to like it but prefer the Vanquish Gen II 2012-2018.
I believe it is bolted on. If you jump to 10:03 you'll see one of the bolts that holds it in place. Not sure if it's attached any other way. Typically I'm not a fan of huge grills, but for some reason, I find it works on this. Kinda like the huge spindle grill that also works well on the LC500 versus all the other Lexus models....

LMAO! Yup, I couldn't disagree. My exact thoughts when I first saw it. The AMG GT-R had the same issue (when it first came out) and the aftermarket released a mesh grill to protect that area

It's a historic brand that's well known for its stunning design. I see your gripe, but I always loved the GT design from Aston Martin. You don't see much change with the 911 - probably because it's something that's worked so well over the decades.

Yes, absolutely. And it might very well be the last V12 GT coming out of Aston Martin
Work of art
Aston Martin never fails to disappoint when it comes to design!
This spec is the best one I seen yet…should have been in all the marketing video as well.
This spec is very polarizing. I really liked the red one they used with the bronze wheels in their press footage
Very accurate and precise coverage Sir, I watched Top Gear coverage about the same car, you went miles beyond them , Well done and hats off 👍
@Solaf-cp1jx wow, I'm sincerely flattered. Thank you very much for your kind words and thanks for watching!
That's neat, so you can change the rear shield as needed 😮

Amazing and this Aston looks almost like a 177 Aston Martin
Yes - it does have very similar front aesthetics

It is a crime to put basic led screens instead of analog gauges in such high end vehicle 🤦♂️
I don't disagree. A lot of the hypercars are retaining analog gauges, such as Gordon Murray, Bugatti,, and Zenvo to name a few...

Owning a vantage I’d say that please stop doing such a horrible strut bar welding guys

How dare they put fake exhaust tips in such a car
Real exhaust pipes behind those - like AMG's
