He said that the treasure would be easy for anyone to get to and nothing dangerous should have to happen in order to reach it. After all he his the treasure himself in his 80's and made 2 trips that day to do it. He has also made several trips to check on it. You people either don't listen or are just drama queens.

That kind of thing would get lots more people visiting national parks which would increase peoples appreciation and awareness of their value which I think would increase the probability of their protection...National/state parks that is. Why doesn't the finder explain how and after what time this successful search came about? The finder cloaks himself in silence, for which there is no reason. If you believe the information, it seems that he has already been identified. Or did he just make himself available as a straw man and the treasure was cashed in by the family? From all these questions you could at least write a good story for a movie.
