The N is a slave term made up by white slave owners four hundred years ago in the days of slavery to in timminate and put black people down.

White people aren’t allowed to speak because they are historically and currently oppressors. Black Americans have never oppressed anyone and their struggle is analogous to other struggles against oppression worldwide duh.
I will be 65 in a few months. I got into P-Funk in the 1970s and the West Coast and the East Coast Rap in the 1990s. I did not get into crime just because I listened to a NWA album just like I did not get into crime because I listened to a Death Metal record. As for Rap real Rap is Public Enemy, A Tribe Called Quest, X- Clan, Boogie Down Production and Ice Cube. Tom MacDonald is a professional A Hole and a Poser. Piercings and tattoos don't make a Rapper skills do.
I spent most of my life loving Hip Hop. The Low End Theory initially connected with me despite being a lower income, middle class "parents didn't make it yet" kid who grew up near the Everglades. Being a precisionist who started in Jazz and Swing, I always loved the 90s Hip Hops' samples and messages. I was known as the white boy, hip hop drummer as I got older when everyone was playing blast beats and punk. Very counter coulter to the norm. I think that is why I fell into the conscious side of rap throughout my teens and twenties. My family valued free expression and thought. Be creative, don't hold yourself down. I really believe times have changed so much. The problems are so much different than 25-30 years ago. The majority of kids aren't listening to music with any sort of personal introspection. I thought this was the point of the industry you and Blackstar helped create. Tom and Ben aren't taking a short at your philosophy of hip hop. They are taking a shot of the autotune, mindless trap, rachet, drill, etc... (throw in a lot of pop music) state of the music industry. Yes, the Ben Shapiro verse was total satire, but it done to be controversial, buck all conceived notions, and be an independent thinker. Rage Against the Machines song "Know your Enemy" always comes to mind nowadays. They suffered and were blinded by their own success as I feel you are now.
Let’s look… you fell into conscious hip-hop from jazz drumming and parents who said be a free thinker. Seems like you practicing free comprehension well. How could you both sides an actual insult to the very art you say you love? Seems like your specific cannon of hip-hip is limited, the greats range from street life to learn who you are, from Kool G Rap to KRS-ONE. All paved a path for Native Tongues. NWA isn’t my enemy, the song FTP is a battle cry for urban youth who are targeted by them. Trap, drill etc… those are expressions of youth in circumstances, is overly marketed? Probably so. If none of their music existed the problems they speak about still would. What should that tell you, blaming an expression for choices you make is a poor excuse for a human. If your free thought hasn’t deduced that it’s system of oppression designed to suppress then your mind is still caged. Ben Shitpiro is a noted conservative speaker who has gone out of his way to side with r@cists and is not friend to blk ppl, so ya, we know who are our enemies very well. You Amy actually be one of them.
Good points, I feel brevity in youtube comments lose context. My Hip Hop journey would be way too long winded and boring for a comment section. I was just using a brief moment as a point of reference. R@cism is also thrown around so easily now that it has lost all power. I don't think that people got upset about Five Percenter ideas in hip hop which is super religiously intolerant and in many ways r@cist. I just believe Hip Hop was created to challenge yourself, look for the underlying meaning, and at times be uncomfortable with the message. But at the end of the day it is just music, good, bad, popular, revolting etc. I have know horrible musicians who have made great songs and amazing musicians that have made trash. @@carbonado1

He didn’t blame it he said he was basically following his music and why he didn’t want to wrap about certain things, I mean what’s wrong with that? He doesn’t have to be black, just like yall said Emenim is only the GOAT because he’s white. I don’t want to hear about drugs and sex
mf'er complaining about how they've lost their soul to "the rap" the same way that touching fentanyl only seems to affect cops. 😂
Thank you for this vid and for letting us know how washed tom is.
I missed this interview.
You’re absolutely correct.
2014-15 only 2 real solo projects tom has out i dont understand why everyone talking about him he’s Canadian and raps about America why do we care again?
Talib your not Japanese nor Indian! So why did you bring it up?

1)"when you watch debates, these people have notes"
If ppl are criticizing for having notes, they have nothing real to criticize you for
2) "I'm just going with the scientists"
a) The scientists don't agree with each other, you can find one that agrees with mainstream. Here's an example of one that doesn't echo what mainstream wants the message to be : Colin Wright (@SwipeWright)
b) Also dont need to be a vet to know the difference between cat & a dog.
c) The Trans Activists do not all draw the distinction between sex & gender, they have also said that sex is fluid.
You know, and I know, don't you lie to yourself. And don't you lie to your listeners Come on, just listen to any old Snoop Dogg. Doctor dre eminem fifty cent 36 mafia or half a million others trying to sell you a dollar cd in new york street
Dude, you intersected yourself into irrelevance.
Social media keeps trying to silence Talib Kweli when the world needs him.
We don't need racist garbage Tom MacQAnon and Ben Swifeisdry as the voices of anything.
We need Talib.
Uh oh talib read mein kampf to gain historical context? He might be racist.
I highly recommend checking out Talib's music. He is a talented musician and has been a staple on my playlist for years.
With that being said.
During the debate, it was embarrassing to be a fan of this man. Let's be clear, conscious rap doesn't equate to intelligence.
He ought to concentrate on his music and make a deliberate effort to acquaint himself with the distinguishing traits and requirements of diverse demographics.
We're all stronger together. He needs to learn that.
Talib is the most racist rapper in the game. This is why hes not on IG or twitter. Hes projecting.
Joe Biden: if you can’t decide whether to vote for me and not trump then you ain’t black!
Who is massa? The person you can’t go against right?
bro you are reaching so heavy on so many levels.
Your not on Tom's intellectual level
Tom Is the worst rapper I’ve ever heard. Every track is the same..
Talib Kweli 👑❤️
