Best game tutorial music ever. The way it builds into a magnificent piece while incorporating all the things you need to know is amazing. till it's over is probably my favorite. Not because its the final final song that is story, but because it highlights the fact that no matter whats in your way, you aren't going down and you practically become the boss.
Watching this video in 2022 and still getting hype out of my mind when Till It's Over started is proof that Just Shapes and Beats is an amazing game that should NOT BE MISSED!!!!! It's a reminder that, once in a blue moon, games like this come out. Games that just try to be fun, and aren't ashamed of it. Just Shapes and Beats is the perfect example. Bullet hell madness to incredible music, telling a great story to boot. Nothing more, nothing less.
"The Art of War" strangely soothing. This is what I listen too while 2020 burns BTW 27:06 it's saying "because of the extreme amount of bass, listener discretion is advised."
Me and my sister S ranked all the songs on hardcore, I will never forget Mortal Kombat one week I was playing that level and one lucky attempt I happened to beat it, in hardcore the corners are all pink unlike normal which made it so much harder, we even did the newer levels too. Not to mention Annihilate oooooh lord, that one took a lot of practice. My recommendations to people considering S ranking all levels Normal and Hardcore be careful, and practice frequently because sometimes little details will change and it is important to be keen of those minor changes, it’s usually the placement of the beams, or the exploding circles. Though having a good idea of each level can also be very nice as well. Oh yeah and if you are considering doing this monumental task, try to focus on your surroundings more than your player, because your surrounding are more random, and have lots more obstacles than in normal. Doing these levels is not an easy task the ones that really got me were Mortal Kombat, Annihilate, Vindicate Me, In The Halls Of The Usurper, Core, Fox, Paper Dolls, and Clash. My sister helped me with this, she stayed by my side through it all, thanks sis. She did all the new levels like Deadlocked, and Katana Blaster. So I gotta give props for that. Any ways I’ll be surprised if you were to read this, but I’ll keep talking considering your reading along. Doing these levels are not easy at the slightest. Now a lot of people say that the corners are safe while that’s true for normal, hardcore is different most corners are all pink, there fore blocked off. And if it isn’t blocked off projectiles might come for corners rendering them unsafe, not to mention projectiles that halfway on screen, and are barely visible until you get hit. One thing about JSAB levels is that they always have a strategy, a pattern that is unique to that one level, until you find that pattern you will be able to find your way to that sweet sweet S rank. But some levels are just easy and will not take a while like Chronos, Milky Ways, Logic Gatekeeper, Long Live The New Fresh, Lycanthropy, Barracuda, Dubwoofer Substep, and The Art Of War. I do love all these songs, and I think any JSAB player does as well, I mean some of these songwriters were on the brink of quitting like Cardi who made Lycanthropy, and now the comments on that video are about wiggly cactus boi. It’s just so amazing that one game can unite so many people into one taste of really great bangers. Phew you got all that hey listen, this took me and my sister 2 months, I know you got this DO NOT GIVE UP.

now imagine js&b but like, 3x more harder with every level, i mean there'll still be checkpoints and all but things will be immensely more bullet hell like, if it wasn't already i think i'll name it (Vertex Mode) why? it's difficulty's gonna stab your emotions clean off the face of your being few examples: All bombs will spawn twice the projectiles. Before stuff gets kicking in "Tutorial", the circles will fill up more and faster before the drop. Big Bad in "Long Live the New Fresh" will have more arms and will swing them more fast. The Tower in "New Game" will place blocks faster and throw more projectiles at you. Big Bad in "New Game" has more reach on his attacks, and during his final cannon segment, he spawns cannons on his sides and back, only leaving like, 1 spot for you to be safe, so be quick.. The background splashes that objects make when hitting the water in "Lycanthropy" count as actual projectiles. Corrupted Square Buddy in "Close to Me" will have more fast moving and thick lines darting around him during his intermission segments. "Termination Shock" will not be buffed because uhh... yea. "Annihilate" will be probably x4 times harder in general. hope you like it
It's cool. My ideas for the bosses are: *Long Live the New Fresh:* Beginning: Add 4 cannons instead of 2. Since they are use as horns later, two of them can just pop off. Middle: There can be up to two arms flying about instead of just one, and eight arms blocking the majority of the screen at once instead of four. Pre-Ending: Since this is just the same as the beginning, simply do that. End: Make a larger variety of attacks that are faster and have that one arm flying about actually last until the end of the battle. *New Game:* I agree with everything you say. There could also be bombs during the cannon part to make it crazy, too. *Barracuda:* Add more snakes past the drop. It's that simple. *Lycanthropy:* Beginning: The beginning is hard enough for a beginning. Post-Beggining: Add more projectiles while the heads are bouncing around while making the splashes actually a threat. Middle to End: Bombs. Bombs, bombs, and more bombs. That may actually make the drop difficult. *Close to Me:* Adding more projectiles when possible is my recommendation. *Final Boss:* Middle: The enemies that are not the boss itself could still be fighting while the boss is fighting. *Annihilate:* Projectiles and snakes. That should help.
thats cool, i mean, thats only some examples, as i said. so yeah, it'll be mad to have those additions put in with probably twice or 3X more difficulty. Now for another touch I'd like to add. Final Boss: During the segment where you're going through the crowd at the speed of light, they can STILL use their SPREAD and LAZER attacks. That'll be mad.

Blue dude should be just as powerful as the last boss because he has already been hit by 999 mini triangles which i think should be equal to one gigantic triangle.
it's not a hack or anything, the hitbox it a stationary square that tracks and responds to the player's image, when the square stretches when it moves, the player looks bigger than the hitbox, allowing for some lucky collision avoidances.

My sister helped me with this, she stayed by my side through it all, thanks sis. She did all the new levels like Deadlocked, and Katana Blaster. So I gotta give props for that. Any ways I’ll be surprised if you were to read this, but I’ll keep talking considering your reading along. Doing these levels are not easy at the slightest. Now a lot of people say that the corners are safe while that’s true for normal, hardcore is different most corners are all pink, there fore blocked off. And if it isn’t blocked off projectiles might come for corners rendering them unsafe, not to mention projectiles that halfway on screen, and are barely visible until you get hit. One thing about JSAB levels is that they always have a strategy, a pattern that is unique to that one level, until you find that pattern you will be able to find your way to that sweet sweet S rank. But some levels are just easy and will not take a while like Chronos, Milky Ways, Logic Gatekeeper, Long Live The New Fresh, Lycanthropy, Barracuda, Dubwoofer Substep, and The Art Of War. I do love all these songs, and I think any JSAB player does as well, I mean some of these songwriters were on the brink of quitting like Cardi who made Lycanthropy, and now the comments on that video are about wiggly cactus boi. It’s just so amazing that one game can unite so many people into one taste of really great bangers. Phew you got all that hey listen, this took me and my sister 2 months, I know you got this DO NOT GIVE UP.

now imagine js&b but like, 3x more harder with every level, i mean there'll still be checkpoints and all but things will be immensely more bullet hell like, if it wasn't already
i think i'll name it (Vertex Mode) why? it's difficulty's gonna stab your emotions clean off the face of your being
few examples:
All bombs will spawn twice the projectiles.
Before stuff gets kicking in "Tutorial", the circles will fill up more and faster before the drop.
Big Bad in "Long Live the New Fresh" will have more arms and will swing them more fast.
The Tower in "New Game" will place blocks faster and throw more projectiles at you.
Big Bad in "New Game" has more reach on his attacks, and during his final cannon segment, he spawns cannons on his sides and back, only leaving like, 1 spot for you to be safe, so be quick..
The background splashes that objects make when hitting the water in "Lycanthropy" count as actual projectiles.
Corrupted Square Buddy in "Close to Me" will have more fast moving and thick lines darting around him during his intermission segments.
"Termination Shock" will not be buffed because uhh... yea.
"Annihilate" will be probably x4 times harder in general.

My ideas for the bosses are:
*Long Live the New Fresh:*
Beginning: Add 4 cannons instead of 2. Since they are use as horns later, two of them can just pop off.
Middle: There can be up to two arms flying about instead of just one, and eight arms blocking the majority of the screen at once instead of four.
Pre-Ending: Since this is just the same as the beginning, simply do that.
End: Make a larger variety of attacks that are faster and have that one arm flying about actually last until the end of the battle.
*New Game:*
I agree with everything you say. There could also be bombs during the cannon part to make it crazy, too.
*Barracuda:*
Add more snakes past the drop. It's that simple.
*Lycanthropy:*
Beginning: The beginning is hard enough for a beginning.
Post-Beggining: Add more projectiles while the heads are bouncing around while making the splashes actually a threat.
Middle to End: Bombs. Bombs, bombs, and more bombs. That may actually make the drop difficult.
*Close to Me:*
Adding more projectiles when possible is my recommendation.
*Final Boss:*
Middle: The enemies that are not the boss itself could still be fighting while the boss is fighting.
*Annihilate:*
Projectiles and snakes. That should help.
thats cool, i mean, thats only some examples, as i said. so yeah, it'll be mad to have those additions put in with probably twice or 3X more difficulty.
Now for another touch I'd like to add.
Final Boss: During the segment where you're going through the crowd at the speed of light, they can STILL use their SPREAD and LAZER attacks. That'll be mad.
