yup just tried the same first cast got one, only 28lb but I had been trying with the shad for over 2 hours in RL and not a bit until I did the presentation like yours and the drop just as you did. Took another 60 cast then got a 12lb still have not got the one for the mission but at least I am catching them. (Update:) I am level 40 atm I tried jig heads 4/0, 6/0 and it was not till I used an Shade 4" yellow and orange with a 1 1/2oz #8/0 jig head I got a 55.825lb Unique Muskie in the evening at location -104.85, -357.80
i'm gobsmacked, thank you so much for this, you will find this challenge pops up after you have done the one before it in missions its called pike hunt 1 casting spoon which i had no problem with, but armed with this video i will see if i can catch one now.
Very nice!! If you don’t mind fish 4 clear Muskie during peak. 3/4 jig green or yellow shad reel speed 3 stop and go. I fill a 330 net every time and get 2 uni and 4 trophies every time
I go in from Sandy pass the tiger Muskie spot until you get to a bunch of reeds and I am casting along with the shoreline about 90 feet. Use 3/4 jig head. There is a rock or tree under the water. If you hit it directly with a bottom rod the sinker will bounce away

I watched your video tried to take and catch the 33 pound oh better for a mission I've been for 2 months trying to catch one still not yet to catch 1 and spent over a million dollars in game I just don't understand what I'm doing wrong and cannot catch 1
I caught a 22 lb Channel Catfish back in my early 20s. I caught some huge fish when I was doing species counts at the Falls of the Ohio when I was assisting my senior professor in college. Flathead cats that were close to 100 Lbs or maybe more. Of course we were electro-fishing so I really can't count that!

Got the unique 6/0 hook 4 inch shad lmao cast from shore to where the vegetation they hang around is. Almost spooled my 23 lb drag reel of 417 ft
