It's called camber. For that the formwork is laid a bit in opposite direction of deflection on site.

Engr im confused regarding your longterm deflection.
Deflection L/240 refers only to service Loads meaning DL+Ll+Sdl.
Pls correct me if im wrong... thnx in advance.
