its cus when your dribbling 1v1, all his and your focus is on winning the 1v1 making it tough to beat him. but 1v4, happen snaturally midgame, so theres bits of hesitant when defending cus if your dribble 1v4, your not thinking about it and it just comes up when the chance is there. but 1v1 happens a lot so you do it all the time. Make him move left/right with sudden speed burst or skill moves. Now that you have dislocated him wait for him to come down so you can dribble past. But if he doesnt pass away. Don't waste time

If he still maintains that means you can easily accelerate the same way you started to dribble the ball but if he follows ur direction, then it means youve slightly unbalanced him so a quick body feint and other direction and your good to go
