Hurry, Shepherds, Run! written by Charlotte Lee and composed by Douglas E. Wagner reminds the listener of the appearance of an angel of the Lord to the shepherds as they kept watch over their flocks at night. The angel announced to them the good news that the Messiah was born in the town of David They hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. They spread the word of all they heard and saw - hope is born; the world is born anew in humble stall.
