Great to see how much you have progressed in just one year!
It seems I have stumbled upon a hidden gem.
The robots are too beautiful! I hope one day to do beautiful things like that, the improvement, work and passion are very noticeable. Happy Anniversary!
Happy 1-year anniversary! :D
Been following you since you began and still enjoying watching your videos.

Happy 1 year anniversary bro.
Can't wait to see next year
This looks amazing! Great work P.O!
Nice work! I gotta say the sniper mech has been my favorite in both iterations, but it's great to see how much your skills have evolved in just a year.
This is just stunning. I'm starting to fall in love with pixel art. I love how it leaves so much for the imagination.
Wow this is incredible. I'm just starting my pixel art journey and seeing this gives me so much inspiration.
That upgrade section was the best, wow thanks for the video :)
wow...just wow
this art is amazing!
Omg idk why I feel a sense of joy & relaxed watching your videos
These are fantastic, super inspiring
When you started adding color, the concept really stood out. Great job! I would love to see these characters brought to life with some impressive animations and sound effects, but I understand it's a lot of work.
Also how do you plan your pixel art? Do you do draw it on paper first with like a quick thumbnail sketch? Or do you plan on pixel art? Also do you use a graphics tablet? You obviously skilled in drawing in general so did you practice before pixel art or as you progressed in pixel art your traditional skills also improved? Do you plan your drawings like the oil rig one and just go for it if you doing smaller simpler drawings?
Congrats on one year!
Love this, I am currently experimenting with drawing mechs in aseprite and follow a similar process. But adding rust/mud/bolts definitely gives it a more finished look.
oh my gosh this is the most impressive pixel art ive ever seen, i actually feel a little inspired to do some pixel art too now :D
Awesome progress! 👏👏👏
Congrats on 1 year!
Amazing work!
ideally. huge respect
Commenting for the algorithm! What a phenomenal improvement!
Oh also do you live stream? You should I feel like that be fun with just a bunch of ppl drawing with tiny dots and talking. Haha. I really want to hear a podcast of your thoughts on the art world, pixel art in general, if pixel art will die etc Btw who are your inspirations? Not limiting to pixel art or art on general who inspires you?
your art is insane
dude keep this up and you're going to be BIG. Guarantee.
Man, I'd love to be able to make even those hand-drawn mechs. Amazing.

thanks for sharing :)
this channel is so underrated
This is so cool, do you guys have any advice about making pixel art character
Hey your videos are amazing man! And very very well edited! Everything is super professional! Great stuff dude.
Anyway I'm wondering how did you start creating pixel art and what do you do for a living? Can you make a origin video on how you came to the art world and made you to create pixel art? Also how long has you been doing pixel art? Do you got a discord server? If not can you make one? How do you as professional pixel artist sell your services online? How do you promote your services? And how long does it take for you to make your videos including editing? Did you ever work for other companies? Or do you do freelance work online? Can you make a video on if you could go back in time how would you learn pixel art? Where do you get your sound effects from and what inspired you to start making RUclips videos also are you on Twitter? Why are you not famous?
Lol sorry for all the questions I'm just curious that's all don't answer if it makes you feel uncomfortable plz, and sorry if it does. Anyway amazing stuff and your improvement is incredible! How much do you do pixel art? Like every week? Or whenever you feel like it? Again your videos are very very well made, did you do video editing work before?
Hi and thanks for the kind words! I've always liked drawing and have a background in vector art. I decided to start learning pixel art a little over a year ago and made a RUclips channel for it. Pixel Overload is more of a hobby of mine than a business, so I haven't promoted myself as such. I enjoy making videos and it's nice to see that people like them.
I do sell some assets on itch.io and sometimes do some freelancer work however.
@@PixelOverloadChannel oh cool what software do you use for vector art?
@@bini420 Adobe Illustrator
Can’t wait for the next year anniversary
Man I love mechs
WOW
Nice
💕
🥳
Woah! Those mechs were totally, *metal*. Gettit?
Hey, that's some beautiful pixel art. I have a question, how did you first learn pixel art?
WWWWOOOOWWWWW
How... The intro, the style, the editing quality.. 2.5k subscribers?! Okay let's fix that.
Wow! It's already been a year?
Get my guy trending pls
Can you make a video about 16x16 character. I struggle a bit with them and wanna sometime overbleed the canvas size
it would be nice to improve the silhouettes even more
Do you do web development or game development? What's your day job?
comment for the algortihssksjdm
love the videos
How did u add anti aliasing ? just add some blur to the curved edges ?
😃👍
X-TREME CHANNEL
Can you share your editor program?
Aseprite for drawing, Hitfilm for editing
What was the canvas size?
Clap , clap, clap. /(^-^)/
Is pixel overload editor is a real program?
Unfortunately not. It's just a transparent image I put over my footage.
Algorithm stimulation!
Obligatory algorithm comment.
You talk about jaggies and having equally sized line segments, but then throw it all out the window by having extremely ugly and distorted scaling!! Why are you not using integer scale!? The wildly differently sized pixels everywhere drives me insane!
Sorry about that! I was using a pixel editor to draw the mechs, so my actual drawing had proper, normal sized pixels. The reason there is distorted scaling is my recording software (which was recording the process) didn't like the massive canvas size on my monitor. If you look at some of the 'final reveal' shots, you'll see that all the pixels are even, because they were exported from my pixel editor.
@@PixelOverloadChannel yeah, I understand it’s just the screen capture, not the actual product, but it’s really hard to look at, especially when so much care and attention to detail has gone into everything otherwise. It’s just a massive pet-peeve of mine when it comes to pixel art. I hope you can change the scaling either in your recording software or the editor to fix it… even if it’s adding a small bit of blur, at least things will be even and smooth…
