- In this Goodwill thrift with me I found not just one or two but many rare items worth over $1500 in resale value! Noah was my lucky charm as we thrifted the Goodwill Deja Blue Boutique Store in Las Vegas to find treasures for resale. Thrift with me and see what I found!

The one necklace you called pewter is a Silpada Brand which has really good resale value, I have that exact necklace and several other Silpada necklaces
Yes. The hang tag with the Silpada hallmark was there. That necklace can sell for between $30-70! Good eye!

I just turned 70 and the world didn't stop. My motto in life is never say it can't get any worse. The past two years have been rough and my two year old grandson broke two bones in his arm a couple of weeks ago on a Chuckie Cheese ride and is taking it like a trooper. My psychiatrist said he'd write a book about our family but no one would believe it. I'm looking forward to organizing my life. I have two houses full of antiques and collectibles to box and label and let my daughters sell. My oldest daughter wants all my old Fiestaware. And we need to sell one house. Lemax is sold by Michaels. They sell Halloween and Christmas villages like Dept 56. I have a fair amount of their Halloween buiildings. Again, mine will become my daughters. I'm loaded with Disney items for them to sell in the future. All bought on clearance. Finally, I have a goal to take care of my health. My days of heavy lifting are over. Just bought our Christmas presents for the children at the Women's shelter. Got everthing on sale. And they don't know my name. I've done this for years. Saved about $300 bargain shopping. Hope you have a wonderful Holiday Season. We've cut way back on Christmas hoping it decreases stress and saves money. I'm starting to get caught up on past income taxes. Got $2000 after submitting an amendment for 2019. Ready to send in 2020 expecting $6000 back. You can file late if expecting a refund and they pay interest. The delay is a result of life over the past two years. I'm working on positive thinking in my 70s. You are my idol.
Oh, Celia, I feel for you! I am in a similar situation with my health and finances at age 67. Praying that your future gets brighter!

Noah I'm with you, this is my favorite store!!!!! Danni good for you, AMAZING shopping trip. I have a mother of pearl seed pear with amethyst beads with real gold beads. In my opinion those are gold beads.
It's so much fun when Noah comes along for the ride! And great scores on the jewelry!! I was drooling the entire time. (And also shouting "don't you put that back" when you were wavering on the bracelet with the green monument gemstones - I think that was my favorite!)

I was in the states in sept and bought the butter dish, with insert in a goodwill for $2.99
I also got some baggies, in one was a single Japanese shaker that’s sold for $20-25 on eBay both baggies were $9 combined.
I had no clue about anything before watching you - now I know a bit!

They did hunt with Greyhounds!! Another, fun fact, they also used Borzois.

To test if a pearl is real, you rub the pearl on your front teeth and if it feels like sand, then they're real.

My mom had the rooster canisters and a breadbox/cutting board plus she had a st of dinnerware with roosters not like todays rooster prints!
