Definitely an improvement. Think the small things that would make it better is if X had some actual laughing sprites, there was a glitch effect before the pixel transition, slight change in the BG during certain segments of the song, and maybe an actual animation of X looking like he’s glitching out with little effects here and there.
Also, that at this part 1:30, the whole screen turned blue like an actual crash
but when sonic.exe turned pixel in ycr, he didnt glitch out for the pixel transition, why does lord x have to do this?

@@egpicgammer232 because the song Fate has the sound effects of glitches and crashes, unlike Sonic in You Can't Run that doesn't, so it's just fitting for the song to have those glitch animations (the sound at 1:30 is the sound of a crash in the old Sega Genesis games)
Honestly he needs a bit more work on the sprites for the pixels too.
To be honest I love how that Lord X isnt angry or annoyed but instead intrigued and amused. I think he is enjoying this more than he would like to admit and the poses he makes and even his idle animation shows him sizing up Bf as a potential candidate for something he has planned and the end makes it feel like he liked what he was seeing and takes the chance to take him however it caused the game to crash. The song is also pretty damn tight.
Doesn't lord X like, crash when he's REALLY mad? It happend when you were not listening to his orders about not opening the text file, I think the same happend here
yeah i got that feeling too like the whole time he was waiting for his moment to take him back to have a new plaything.
@@lolok4101 Yeah, I kinda figured he lost the rap battle so he got pissed and basically ragequit, a huge contrast to his other songs and the beginning of this one where he's clearly not taking anything seriously.

As in that's the name of the demon from the actual creepypasta, So it would make sense that pc port sonic, a Lord X, would be amused that the player for bringing him into this unusual environment because at this point the demon knows who you are very well.
@@cruisingbongos4913 To Lord X everything is a game and he takes great pride to engross himself into whatever he is tossed into but if you pay attention to how he acts in both his body language and his actions you would come to realize that this incarnation of Sonic.Exe is by far the most terrifying of the lot. He is an enigma.
Lord x opening himself as a pixel sprite is actually kind of genious considering he does that in the original Sonic EXE Pc Port. The purple eyeholes in the pixel part was also a nice touch

I hate that no one gets that that's the sound of an error/crash occurring on a Sega Genesis game, typically Sonic games, where the game freezes with the sound effect that continues playing and sounds exactly like that, displaying various addresses to explain where the error occurred

When I heard the "IN HIS WORLD!" 4:03 Reference I fell in love with this song one of my favorite childhood songs Lord X was also a favorite of mine which is an amazing mix, great song! Even the pixel swap had a different feel.

Great Mod, looks really good! I have a couple ideas:
1. Change up the pixel poses. Or, at least flip the left one so that it points left.
2. Change the GF sprite so that her hair isn't blowing prior to Super BF and so that it blows away from Super BF, because it looks odd otherwise.
3. Change the Sprites for Lord X during the final phase so that he looks unhappy.
As I said before, this is a great mod, and I'm excited for when it comes out!
That's what I was expecting from the "His World" part of the song!

Agreed, but I would've also suggested changing the background to a normal world in the "His World" part as well
Other little fix that I like to add is, well, wait just for the "his world" part to make Super BF appear, It's a little bit more fitting
Also, fix how the portal thingy erases the arrows' tails
Oh and maybe add some "illegal instruction" message in the 16-bit part
PD: Why are BF hair and down arrows dark blue and not light blue like they're supposed to be?
I think her hair is blowing towards super BF bc there was a little hole of the pixel world, idk maybe it was windy there?

Everyone else already said what is needed to be said, but love that end bit. Glad that "window" got closed before GF got blown away.
The build up from BF’s sad solo to the His World part is inspiration, I thought even I was gonna go Super. I wish the team wasn’t so wasteful, Lord X should have gotten the full week.
Also, big shoutout to whoever made the new animations for Lord X, he’s got an awesome voice too.

3:33 Lord X actually sounds really power here, dang he is threatening.
It would make me happy if at 1:25 instead of it turning to pixels maybe it could be a huge hand coming out of Lord X’s mouth that grabs boyfriend and drags him in there. Then inside the phase where the pixels were it could just be you being controlled by Lord X with a thing that puppeteers use, I don’t know what it looks like but it’s strings coming from a wooden cross. Then after that Lord X gives you mercy and toys with you by bringing you out to rap battle him again.
*A few suggestions:*
- Maybe fix the lord X pixel poses up, they seem a bit clunky.
- Have him change expressions after BF turns super. Maybe angry, confused, or fearful.
- Add death arrows to the chart if possible.
- Add a jumpscare for his laugh segment before the pixel part, could be inspired by one from the actual PC port
- I don't really love the background. You could use one from the concept where its them battling on floating islands infront of a bunch of souls.
- Remove GF, her being there sorta removes the tension and seriousness
One thing I’ll add is that they actually tried to use that floating island background but was denied permission to use it by the devs

To me, the animation I highly admire is the up arrow, and that is still there, love the new animations for lord X, along with the catchy songs right at the start
There's something so magical about this...
It really makes me think that Lord X is trying to taint the image of Sonic as a whole, like "You'll only remember ME now whenever you think of Sonic!" then when the nostalgic music of "In His World" kicks in, BF, the surrogate player, immediately reminds us that it's about Sonic, baby! Not Lord X!

A little suggestion, At 4:48 Make it the timer be stuck around 11 or 10 (Or go to 10 and go to 11 like it was unable to go to 9.) Like it was repeating. Also make the sprites also repeat. you don’t have to do this. I’m saying it as a suggestion that might look cool when the full week get released.

I love how the devs aren't even doing all this insanely powerful stuff, references (His World), etc. on Sonic.exe, despite him being the center of attention in the mod. They're doing it on a character who looks like a reskin of him, but more [[chunkier]], more powerful, and honestly maybe better than .exe is.

3:54 Mini Theory: a little detail I noticed is that when BF goes super, Lord X can't drain your health, as if Super BF is so powerful that Lord X can no longer do anything to stop him.

This was amazing especially the ending as a nod to the pc port where Lord x originated from where he basically can tamper your device and delete stuff I guess he got so mad he decided to kill off all of them or just freeze them until the game is runned again

- Also, I hope that you made a reference where instead of bf just black and white in the subconscious mind, add the reference where bf is like a puppet on strings on the hands of lord x, then he lets go and turns into his hyper bf form

I love his new animations, he looks more serious and more focused than cycles. the song is a bop, it's stuck in my head, and the time where he laughs continuesly is so nostalgic for me, because some of you might remember, that in Sega games sometimes when the game crashed the sound effect that played the moment before the game crashed, the sound effect played continuesly. over all, great mod
