Need A Break From My Addiction

I have been an Eagles fan for almost 30 years now and it started as a way to bond with family members and have fun. Over the last 10 years ago, watching the team has become an addiction I need to break till I can actually get my mind right and enjoy the game.
Shout out to ‪@rick8bit‬ , ‪@Chargerdude95‬ , ‪@PhilTalksSports‬ ‪@WOLFENCT‬ who has an Eagles podcast, ‪@DesertEagle90‬ and ‪@SpaceCowboyMED‬ for being cool to me and helping me over the years.
I will never stop being a fan of this team, but circumstances in my life have caused me to need to make this change. Sorry if this offends anyone, but it is time to do things for me and not the team.

Although I wouldn’t use the word “addiction”, I completely sympathize with what you are saying. I went through a very similar experience in 2017 (when I was about the age you are now… maybe a couple years younger). Since then, I have learned to better balance football with other facets of my life that (1) are very important and (2) I have more control over.
I have watched more Cowboys football this year than other recent years, and I notice an improved difference over past decades. One day (especially when your kids are old enough to enjoy football) you will too.
