Stojgniew - the song is Hanging Johnny, and 19th century, not 16th. We do know one or two shanties and sailors' songs of the 16th century, though. Stan Hugill recorded them back in the 1960s. Oh, and Pirateria - Drake wasn't a pirate but a privateer, with letters of marque from the Queen!
