Golden Hinde II - Build, Launch & Sailing into London 1973

This film was uploaded with the kind permission of Brandt Esser the Grandson of Albert D. Elledge who was one of the businessmen with Art Blum from San Francisco to commission the Golden Hinde II Replica in 1972 with the Naval Architect also from San Francisco Christian Norgaard.
The film is 20 mins and shows the building of the Golden Hinde II by Hinks & Sons Ltd in Appledore North Devon, the launching and sailing up the Thames in London.
This vessel is now preserved by the Golden Hinde Trust www.goldenhinde.com on the Thames London and remains a testament to the skilled craftsmen who built the Golden Hinde II from Appledore North Devon.
