it's funny how her sudden retirement announcement comes at a time close to when her contract expires. she would need to hire an entirely new staff to get a win. and the writing and story for the next project would need to be epic. that won't happen, woke is the only thing Kennedy cares about, because elderly people with dimentia are easy to manipulate, and she has become the spokesperson for Woke. die-hard Star Wars fans have moved on until that epic story manifest. we don't mind waiting, but I know the glory days of Star Wars is probably over.

He could have walked away, his legacy intact, leaving Chapek to carry the can - yet he came back in the belief he could fix the mess he created. Kennedy could have walked away after completing the sequel trilogy. The signs of impending ruination were already there, particularly after the second film. Still, she stayed on, thinking she could somehow become competent.
