Hi Jou. We visited Fundy Bay on our way up and down to and from Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. We are not traveling full time. We do go home to check on the house to make sure it hasn't run away. We are happier when we are traveling and exploring. Seeing new beautiful places is like food for our souls. When we don't have commitments at home, we hit the road. We want to do all the traveling while we can still climb stairs.
Very nice video, and a lesson to all tourists that New Brunswick is more than a "drive-thru" province. Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland may get all the press, but New Brunswick has certain charms as well. We have border-to-border freeways in the province, and, you could drive through NB in as little as three hours or so, but, there is no reason not to stay a night or two along the way and see the sights. Almost all our attractions are located a distance from the freeway network, and if you stay on the highways, you would think there was nothing in NB but trees. This is far from the truth. Sticking to the Fundy coast in particular allows you to experience Saint Andrews (Canada's Bar Harbor), Saint John, St. Martin's, the Fundy Trail, Fundy National Park, Alma, Cape Enrage, Hopewell Rocks, Moncton, The orchards and vineyards of the Memramcook region, the university town of Sackville, and Fort Beausejour/Fort Cumberland National Historic Park. There is more than enough here for at least a two day visit along the way.
It really was quite a drive. We don't have a master itinerary. We hope to explore as many places as we can here in the USA and Canada. We hope to visit Michigan in the Fall. Here are some of the places on our wish list: Alaska, Vancouver, Glacier Nation Park, Banff National Park, Zion, Bryce, and more.

Dickson Falls is one of my favorite trails in the park. I love all of the moss. I'm originally from NB but living in the west
It was so peaceful listening to the sound of the water at Dickson Falls. I wonder if the moss helps make the water look so clear. We hope to explore the West of Canada in the future.

Hi Jou. We visited Fundy Bay on our way up and down to and from Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. We are not traveling full time. We do go home to check on the house to make sure it hasn't run away. We are happier when we are traveling and exploring. Seeing new beautiful places is like food for our souls. When we don't have commitments at home, we hit the road. We want to do all the traveling while we can still climb stairs.
Very nice video, and a lesson to all tourists that New Brunswick is more than a "drive-thru" province. Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland may get all the press, but New Brunswick has certain charms as well. We have border-to-border freeways in the province, and, you could drive through NB in as little as three hours or so, but, there is no reason not to stay a night or two along the way and see the sights. Almost all our attractions are located a distance from the freeway network, and if you stay on the highways, you would think there was nothing in NB but trees. This is far from the truth. Sticking to the Fundy coast in particular allows you to experience Saint Andrews (Canada's Bar Harbor), Saint John, St. Martin's, the Fundy Trail, Fundy National Park, Alma, Cape Enrage, Hopewell Rocks, Moncton, The orchards and vineyards of the Memramcook region, the university town of Sackville, and Fort Beausejour/Fort Cumberland National Historic Park. There is more than enough here for at least a two day visit along the way.
We love visiting New Brunswick and Bay of Fundy. We hope to return and do some more exploring.

It really was quite a drive. We don't have a master itinerary. We hope to explore as many places as we can here in the USA and Canada. We hope to visit Michigan in the Fall. Here are some of the places on our wish list: Alaska, Vancouver, Glacier Nation Park, Banff National Park, Zion, Bryce, and more.
@@tdadventures I was wondering if you were going to go all the way to Alaska. That would be quite an adventure! I'm sure that would involve many unique challenges and would take lots of preparation.
