Holy smokes! I was back stage for this performance! Went to a club where they were playing the night before & got talking to a road guy for the band. I think he dug it that my friend and I had come all the way from L.A. to hear them, hooked us up with backstage passes. Great memories, just wish I would have had a camera back then. It was hot as heck & humid, and these guys were wearing suits! I asked John Hart why they didn't at least take off the jackets, he said they were already sweaty and he would likely catch a cold if he did.
Probably the biggest regret in my life is when I turned down an invitation to go backstage at the Long Beach Blues Festival to meet the man. I guess I was a little bit shy at the time

The guy on the Hammond B3 is Stanley Buckwheat Dural, who later went solo as Buckwheat Zydeco.
I don't know what it is, but Clifton's got it and I want to catch it. Even better when he sings in French
Obrigado por your postagem, the video of festival is rarity. Very good. Thank you
What a music, really music!
Wondering why the accordion never made it to rock and roll. Can't get much more rockin than Clifton's zydeco.

Top top top top Zydeco Accordeon 👌🪗
This is being played back too fast. Sounds closer to B but is played in Bb. Pitch/tempo needs to be lower and sounds much better.
