if you dont do drag, manual is your answer with this chassis. If you learn it, you wont come back. I own both since 2018, and ill tell you the ZF8 sleep (N55) in my driveway with a flat battery and flat tires (keep it only as a back up, because you know, N54 life with a ST and 600bhp+).

do you have inlets and outlets also are you using a hob switch for the dual fuel pumps did you say what fuel you are running and turbo brand
Stock turbo outlets🤯 and vrsf high flow inlets
I have a 135i n54.
I got 7.5 vrsf FMI, vsrf castles dp, charge pipe with dual turbo smart bov, csf aluminum radiator, dinan performance coils.
I was told I can download MHD and go stage 2 and get 450hp with my stock turbos. You had said high 300 or low 4. Is the 450 accurate?
Whp probably going to be making low 4s realistically. But I’m not sure how much those dinan help I’ve never used them I run index 12s
Stock turbos with stage 2+ and those mods will be around 440-490 which means ur whp will be around 420-450
I’m in the same boat as you with a low mileage auto n54 so forsure no regrets just going with upgraded twins instead of a single turbo kit? The car is completely stick that’s why I want to know if it’s worth doing a single turbo since everyone tells me to but I’m very interested in upgraded twins
If you get big enough twins and go meth or port injection. You’ll be clapping. I’m still di and I’ve beat multiple single setups. But also Pure Evil tuning is the goat and no one around me is tuned by him
how have the pure stage 2s been holding up? and how many miles have you had them on

How much was a LSD for you? I kinda like how it kicks out without it especially sliding it around, but trying to do a dig its VERY sketchy. Even worse now that its getting cold
$2500+ better off going with the lsd from helical

A shop cut it obviously but they put these custom carbon hood vents in. I don’t have any links for them

Bro it’s probably 8-14mpg. Half a tank lasts me just over a day
kook vid🍺 What is the LSD a plug and play or did you have to get a different drive shaft or use your stock one? Roughly. How much did you get the LSD for?
Custom Fit driveshaft from a local shop for 1400$ and You can order the dif online for around 1k$ depending who you find. The better route to go in my opinion is ordering the lsd ratio online and putting in the diff you already have
@@verify_135i thanks for the info brother, did you not use your existing driveshaft because it wouldn’t fit or did you want a custom one piece unit and I’m guessing for $1000 you got a complete used M3 LSD?🍺

I did the mfactory lsd for my 08 535i and it was a direct swap in. Works great

just go to stage 3 tune for xhp

@verify_135i you should do the stage 3 with that much power. Also since you have lsd go into options and do the reduce tq on upshifts and select the st or slick tire option. Up the shift speeds a little too. Launch control settings too. Did that for my 600 hp 08 535i with lsd and made a world of difference. Gonna get a custom trans tune soon tho.

Owning an n54 is like having a high maintenance girlfriend..if you dont take care of it don't even bother. Save yourself the headache unless you know what you're doing or have slightly deep pockets

@@verify_135i I've had my e90 335 with 192k miles not on issue either. I don't understand why people hate these cars unless it's the ones that can't afford to maintain em or just don't know anything about cars in general. They just heard the hype and bought one
