    I've been looking at getting a 135i to replace my '13 RS5 as my commuter car. I love the mods you've put on yours. This video definitely helps me with the direction I want to go if I get one.

    Seibon recommends to use hood pins. What max speed you tried with this hood on the car?

    • @MitchNucifora

      Fastest with the Seibon hood is about 200km/h. It seemed very secure but I’ve been looking into getting some hood pins just to be safe! :O

    • @MitchNucifora

      Hey Jason! I never did anything to the side skirts prior to the conversion. I did buy a set of flow designs side extensions but never used them. I have revozport design 1M side skirts on the car now though.

    • @MitchNucifora
      @MitchNucifora  4 года назад +1

      Cheers man! I went to a bmw dealership to order the parts in. And with the side skirts, they were cut down to fit as the fitment wasn’t 100% due to aftermarket rear guards :)

  • @cavernsoftime_music

    Hey! For the charge pipe, was there a reason you didnt go with the BOV? was this decision based off performance or just you not like the BOV sound ahah.

    • @MitchNucifora
      @MitchNucifora  3 года назад

      The N55 engines run on a DV system and don’t utilise a BOV. Originally I bought a Tial BOV when I got the charge pipe, to then find out that N55’s don’t use them :(

      done looks wise with yours. Were the front fenders a direct fit or did you need to work with side skirts for fitment? - Thanks again

    Hey Mitch, I'm also in Brisbane and have a 2011 135 MSport and am considering some more mods. Done the charge pipes, catch can and have the same intake filter. What sort of power output are you getting at the wheels, and have you clocked a 0-100 KM/Hr time for it?

    • @MitchNucifora
      @MitchNucifora  4 года назад +1

      N54 and N55 motors are great in their own ways. If you plan on a big power build, go N54. Otherwise if you’re not chasing a heap of power, definitely N55 as it sounds better and is far more reliable :)
      First mods would be: MHD tune, downpipe, intercooler and suspension

    • @MitchNucifora
      @MitchNucifora  4 года назад +1

      The rear guards were definitely the hardest part however I didn’t install them. If you install all the guard linings, you need to drop the front suspension from its three point attachment on the body as the lining has a hole which allows the suspension to run through it :)
