i live in northern KY, i just got my truck crew cab tinted all 4 windows and my rear windshield and front visor strip in ceramic tint 15% and it was $320. If I wanted all 5 windows in regular tint it was going to be $220 I also initially was looking at just doing regular tint on only my front two windows and a sun strip (since my rear two and back windshield has factory 20% on it already) and they quoted me $120 (add $50 if you want ceramic). So basically i got the best ceramic tint, on 5 truck crew cab sized windows AND a front windshield sun visor (not the full wiindshield) and I paid $320 all-in. So far, it's the best $320 i spent and really glad i spent the extra on ceramic vs. the regular for the heat reduction. Obviously prices by regions will vary, but i live in the midwest and that is a pretty common price range for around here from the initial research I did and the place I used is one of the best in the entire tri-state area also

I know for a fact these work but as someone who is "aways watching" It's plain to see that the sensor is further away form the interior side glass window for both ceramic and closer for the regular tint . In addition the hot bulb 💡is noticeably further away from the exterior glass for the ceramic windshield. I Can't say for certain it's intentionally been filmed this way though it appears to be intentionally deceptive. For a reference point if Earths orbit was was just 1%-3% closer to the sun 🌞 life would cease to exist on this planet.
Wanna know a crazy fact? Nano Ceramic Tint is so effective at stopping the heat at the glass from entering through that it is not recommended to use the darkest percentage on sunroofs and back windows of Tesla’s. The extreme heat rejection can potentially cause a stress crack on the glass from the heat. It’s a rare case and definitely don’t want to scare anyone but it has happened a few times we’ve heard across the country. These are super rare scenarios.

Nice video! Curious, can you tint your sunroof / moonroof? I want to have it tinted also with nano ceramic. I figure it is a great idea since it will definitely help with the sun hitting it. Thank you
Usually this isn’t offered as most vehicles with sunroofs have “shades” you can scroll over your sunroof when you want less light in. However if you did want it done yes you can easily do this or ask for it to be added.
Great video, can you have ceramic tint that is almost transparent as to tint the front door windows and remain legal. So if pulled over the ligth tester will not fail you because of the amount of ligth passed thru?
That would be fantastic on tractor trailers. Curious on the clear for the windshield does that affect the frosting ice after windshield from the inside
The Z's owner cheap out on the initial tint, probably got the $100 groupon deal. My tint doesn't look like that. Quality tint, professional installer is what you want. It's gonna cost more, but worth it on the long run.
I thought windshield tint would be applied on the outside of the car ? So that when rocks come towards you the cermic tint acted as a barrier and preserved your windshield longer? Can someone give me input? I'm scheduling my appointment next week and found a place that uses NANO ceramic tint! Great video!!
Tint is great, video is great, the problem is that if the car itself isn’t insulated well then your car is still going to be hot as shit inside no matter the tint! the reason tint is good is for privacy if you can afford the extra for nano ceramic great but the majority of the planet cannot as it is expensive!
Good question, Clint East, I’m sure you will make wise decisions with your funds and you don’t need to “get your money up” I’m sure you are doing FINE.
Interesting, still curious what the blocked percent of heat is..I am thinking it's just a slower saturation...giving if the opposite of the tints are in the sun for 3 hrs I could guarantee they would reach the same temp...more money for temporarily slowing down the heat for a small time frame...worth it or not? Your money! Lol
Thank you, all I want to know does it really really work because I’m the vehicle for hours and I’m not sure my old car needs the regular stuff but one truth is all I need thanks
The heat gets through after about a minute, does that mean if your car sits in the sun for a couple of hours, the interior would be about the same temperature as if you didn't have tint?
quick back of the envelope calculations: nano ceramic heats at 6% the rate of regular tint (10/165). If this amount of heat does accumulate inside the car and doesn't simply dissipate (can someone please fact check this?) then it would take more than 16 times the amount of time for a nano ceramic tinted car to accumulate the same amount of heat as a regular tinted car.
So glad I decided to spend the money on this. This was my first time getting ceramic on any vehicle I've owned. Got 35% all around and 70% on the windshield. i live in northern KY, i just got my truck crew cab tinted all 4 windows and my rear windshield and front visor strip in ceramic tint 15% and it was $320.
Obviously prices by regions will vary, but i live in the midwest and that is a pretty common price range for around here from the initial research I did and the place I used is one of the best in the entire tri-state area also
I just patented a new tint called "Gold Plated Titanium" It blocks out 100 percent of UV light and doesn't let any heat at all pass thru.
Are y’all in Houston? How much does something like this run for 4 doors windshield and rear glass?

@zetburg Grand It will definitely depend on the type of package and application areas you would like to go with. Full Ceramic Tint Packages will yield the best results for climate control.
Thank you so much Carlos for your invaluable information, highly appreciate it, have a great day.
I think that's why a 90's Volvo has a green/blue hue in the windows. Must use UV blocking tint in the layers of glass. COOL!
It's most likely just the natural color of the glass. This type of technology wasn't around in the 90's to the best of my knowledge.
@@TexasTintMasters Most likely correct. Old school UV tint probably, like the type in florescent tubes.
Love your work bro, awesome quality.
😉👍🏽
Does it also keep heat in the cabin in winter ❄️?
Does 5% ceramic/nano ceramic have better visibility from inside the vehicle than regular 5% tints?
Nice personality. Very knowledgeable. And really great work! Makes me think I should go all the way to Texas to get my windows tinted! :-)
I live in Upstate NY but Ill bring my car down just to get my car tinted by you, so professional and such exquisite technique
Awesome, see you guys when my Tesla is delivered.
Awesome video every detail very good information I learnt a lot thanks keep up the good videos
I live in san antonio I might take a trip soon to get some tint work done
I know for a fact these work but as someone who is "aways watching" It's plain to see that the sensor is further away form the interior side glass window for both ceramic and closer for the regular tint . In addition the hot bulb 💡is noticeably further away from the exterior glass for the ceramic windshield. I Can't say for certain it's intentionally been filmed this way though it appears to be intentionally deceptive. For a reference point if Earths orbit was was just 1%-3% closer to the sun 🌞 life would cease to exist on this planet.
Wow so imagine the heat protection you can get if you do a full ceramic tint with a darker percentage
I got ceramic tint that’s 20 all around and 50 on windshield . It’s a life changer! Specially if you have a black car.
@@mickey6796 I have a black car with all black leather interior. Needless to say I need some of this in my life. Plus, I've blacked out all the chrome and tinted the headlights and tail lights so the window tint would make it look that much better
@@ImThe5thKing definitely go with 15 if you can
@@mickey6796 how is the 20 and 50, do you have trouble with cops?
Damn, I got my Tint done here on my Kia Rio back in the day these guys seriously do the best job! Customer service is top notch but the work they do is better. I Should've took my K5 to them lmao mistake on my part.
Just got my Lexus, has no tint. So hopefully the guy that did my tint on my last car has ceramic tint. Because Houston gets HOT. If not , I can just buy the ceramic film myself right?
Yes, I can personally attest to being able to get the roof done.
Carlos, great video. How much more is ceramic tent versus regular tent on the windows and windshield?
Window tint warriors for the win 😤
I’m looking in to this type of this tint My question is he dark does it get at nigh?
I did 20 percent tint, its not too bad. It did lighten up a tad over time though
To our best understanding and personal experience, it doesn't affect frost at all. The film is installed on the inside of the vehicle.
Could you please explain the difference between nano ceramic and nano carbon. Thanks bro
Great video, thanks for explaining the difference 👍👍👍
Nano Ceramic and Nano Carbón film, what’s the difference?
The Z's owner cheap out on the initial tint, probably got the $100 groupon deal. My tint doesn't look like that. Quality tint, professional installer is what you want. It's gonna cost more, but worth it on the long run.
HOW MUCH NANO CERAMIC TINT SHOULD COST FOR MY V10 650 FORD JUST TOW WINDOWS
idk how you don't have more subs wtf
What about visibility? Is it better at night? Or its the same as regular tint?
Great, but can you get ceramic tint dark like regular tint?
Is Nano Ceramic better than Carbon Ceramic tint?
Hi… where did you buy the heat lamp in the beginning.
I have a heat lamp box but this is great to show clients inside the rv how it works.
I thought windshield tint would be applied on the outside of the car ? So that when rocks come towards you the cermic tint acted as a barrier and preserved your windshield longer? Can someone give me input?
I'm scheduling my appointment next week and found a place that uses NANO ceramic tint! Great video!!
If on the outside, its called paint protection film
Tint is laid on the inside
Tint is great, video is great, the problem is that if the car itself isn’t insulated well then your car is still going to be hot as shit inside no matter the tint! the reason tint is good is for privacy if you can afford the extra for nano ceramic great but the majority of the planet cannot as it is expensive!
THANK YOU! I had to slide through hundreds to reward myself with some truth now I won’t waste 300-400$ Extra dollars
I tinted my front windshield on my truck with ceramic tint. Best investment ever made..
So, heat does go thourgh ceramic tint it just takes longer, and on a hot summer day the heat is constant so, why pay extra for ceramic?
Just get ya money up nd get tht good tint bruh
@@rickyharo6528 lmao
Good question, Clint East, I’m sure you will make wise decisions with your funds and you don’t need to “get your money up” I’m sure you are doing FINE.
@@sammmyDaviS everythin ok at home?
I ride 2% regular tint. I live in Tx. My car still be cold in the summer.
What % of darkness was use all around the car, and the front windshield?? I have 35% on the windshield and 5% all around my car.
@@josekanucee1428 I haven’t been pulled for my tints. Yessir
I have old tint on my 96 f250 and the ac will freeze you out in the Texas summer I can’t even imagine what ceramic tint would be like
How much $$ ?
Interesting, still curious what the blocked percent of heat is..I am thinking it's just a slower saturation...giving if the opposite of the tints are in the sun for 3 hrs I could guarantee they would reach the same temp...more money for temporarily slowing down the heat for a small time frame...worth it or not? Your money! Lol
Thank you, all I want to know does it really really work because I’m the vehicle for hours and I’m not sure my old car needs the regular stuff but one truth is all I need thanks
Not the case at all. Big diff between two cars parked side by side
I'm going to have to move to Texas just to get tints now
Dang! I wish you could install my tint up here in Michigan.
Search for Sunshade Tinting in Troy. Super high end shop and reasonable prices. I was drooling over a Lambo there last week.
I only use nano ceramic been that way for years, every state should have a shop that does it you just have to call around.
This was dope to watch thank you!
Just got my new car done..HUGE DIFFERENCE !!!! AC GETTS TOO COLD NOW..LOL
Looking to visit your shop soon! Thanks
How can you tell the difference between ceramic vs nano ceramic by just looking from within the car? Without using a heat measuring device ?
