Meteoroids are objects from outer space that have not reached the earth atmosphere.
Meteors are when it has reached earth atmosphere.
Meteorites are any solid surviving pieces that are in the planet.
Metheorologists do also use the term “meteors” for the “shooting stars” since there is no other term for them. that’s why it’s necessary to specify if hydrometeor, electrometeor, photometeor etc…
The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plains.
