Quite surprised that IBA's Israeli Television was shut down months ago by Netanyahu administrations and replaced by a new public TV channel called Kan.
+Izzat Fauzi Mustafa, authoritarians like Netanyahu hate journalists and want to control the media. You see the same in America with Trump, and in Russia with Putin.
IBA was in constant decline throuot the last two decades, ignored by the public that could find no reason to found a public cannal that nobody watch annymore its management was at incompetent hands, and at times when eurovision,world-cop games and the olympic games were broadcasted by IBA (which only they had leagal permition to broadcast)they did it with low deffinition photige and had manny flops. Kan was created in order to modernize the public broadcasting and make it more trendy and relevant, and i must say they are doing agreat job
