Well they literally go back to the roots from 1980s to take less risk and save budget, I will be happy if this game succeeds so they put more effort in their pop remake
I hate 2D games... PS5 leke bhi 2D hi khelenge kya.. aisa opinion tha mera. But as a Prince of persia fan in the past I bought it. (Also i didnt plan to buy, but bought it because of good reviews). I was blown away! 60% into the game.... I am blown away in a way ki i will definitely restart playing it again after finishing it. When they cancelled Sands of time remake and announced this instead, i was like kya mazaak kar rahe hain ham logo ke sath... But mera saara narazgi khatam kar diya ubisoft ne.

I thought the same. 3D matte models with 2D effects. They also blatantly copied the neon blue colour effect of the hextech and put it in the splash effects of the main character. Also the movements and controls are straight up copied from Ori games.

Just an info: game designer of Ori games was hired from Ubisoft M. So that person have worked on Ubisoft Rayman and Ori games. Same Ubisoft team worked on POP TLC. Thats the reason it is very similar to Ori. (We can say Ori is similar to Rayman)
