Yes, I feel the same 😔 either they have been shadow nerfed or there are just less drops towards the end of the week as we have reached the weekly cap for rune drops
Nice! Yes, towers seems to be a decent spot to farm them for now but this might change after the patch goes live tomorrow as they will buff the new erebban and abyssal verge modes. P140 rune is RAE it should have 5% base attribute increase and 2 extra bonuses

Every time I seem to think I understand what I need to craft what I want it doesn’t turn out. It’s probably operator error, I’m sure, just wondering what your take is on synthesizing so far GG!
Synthesising is worth it when you need a specific rune to use/upgrade. There's not really much downside to upgrading the old runes since they mostly won't sell at the market now even for min price. So personally I would upgrade them till I can synthesise 1 blue rune and sell that. Eventually I think blue runes will also start going for min price. It's one of those things that looks complicated but it's actually pretty simple. It all has to do with the paragon level requirement of the rune which is a bit strange in the first place tbh. But basically to get the rune u want you need 3x of the rune from the previous paragon level. So let's say the rune you want is ENT which has a required level of 110 you need 3x the level 100 rune which is BOL to synthesise 1 ENT
I have not experienced any increase in rune drops in the abyssal verge. What I have seen is a drop decrease in the abyssal essences that get converted to runes after gathering 10 of them.
Yeah. I blasted the Abyssal verge hard for the merge event and didn't notice such a huge increase. Also had decent luck in dungeons like you mentioned. For now I'll also stick with them
For what we currently have in the game I'd recommend slowly trying to get the new blue runes in every slot in most cases. The only slot where it could be worth keeping the grey runes is probably the head/shoulders as the IMM rune is quite strong with 2% increased attk speed
I think they will be rare since ATI rune was teased as rare rune in the deleted patch notes. This is just my opinion though, Blizzard may change things up as they see fit

Iv gone for the towers and treasure hunter sections of the paragon had x 3 blues and 19 greys yesterday. The blues hax3 rolls lvl 140.

I've found dungeons are good for blue runes. I think the drop rate is still bugged in new modes.

the two instances for farming runes sucks... its better to be able to drop them every where rather than these stupids instances

I think they will be rare since ATI rune was teased as rare rune in the deleted patch notes. This is just my opinion though, Blizzard may change things up as they see fit
the cost to crafting runes is absolute non-sense. Just powers of 3 for what are runes with essentially the same potential/lvl
